Campezo convoca subvenciones de natalidad de hasta mil euros

The Campezo City Council has published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava (BOTHA) number 105, dated September 14, 2026, the summary of the call for grants to promote birth rates for the year 2026. The aid, a single payment, ranges between 500 and 1,000 euros per birth depending on the income level of the family unit, and applications may be submitted until December 31, 2026.

The call is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, and its full text is available in the National Grants Database with the identifier BDNS 927909. The summary appears signed by the mayor, Ibernalo Basterra Txasko, in Santa Cruz de Campezo on September 4, 2026.

Beneficiaries and requirements

Parents with a domicile and effective residence in the municipality for a minimum of 2 years prior to the time of birth may benefit from these grants. Each birth will entitle the applicant to one grant.

The regulatory bases were approved by plenary agreement on March 16, 2026, and published in BOTHA number 63, dated June 3, 2026.

Amount according to family income

The amount of the aid is determined by comparing the declared income of the family unit in the previous fiscal year, establishing two brackets:

  • Income below 35,000.00 euros: the amount will be 1,000.00 euros.
  • Income equal to or greater than 35,000.00 euros: the amount will be 500.00 euros.

In any case, if it becomes necessary to reduce the amounts to fit the budget allocation due to the number of applications, the reduction will be applied proportionally.

Submission deadline

Applications may be submitted from the day following the publication of the bases in the BOTHA until December 31, 2026. The call is addressed directly to the families of the municipality, who may consult the full text and requirements in the National Grants Database.

The measure represents direct financial support for birth rates in the municipality, with an amount graduated according to the economic capacity of each household, so that families with lower incomes receive the maximum amount.
