Camarasa authorizes the water and sewage works on Riu Street

The City Council of Camarasa has initially approved the works project for the replacement of water and sewage installations on Riu Street, with a base tender budget of 99,873.55 euros (VAT included). The approval was formalized through Mayoral Decree no. 2026-0216, dated October 22, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida no. 207, of October 29, 2026 (CVE BOP-2026_0_207_8888), in an announcement that opens a thirty-day period of public information.

The announcement, signed by Mayor Pere Pedrol Sánchez, submits the project for public exhibition both in the BOP of Lleida and on the municipal notice board and the corporation’s e-board. During this period, any interested person may examine the file and submit any allegations they deem appropriate. If no allegations are presented once the period has elapsed, the project will be definitively approved and the tender for the work will be opened.

The act is framed within article 37.2 of Decree 179/1995, which approves the Regulation of works, activities, and services of local entities, which regulates the processing of municipal works projects when they must be subject to contracting.

Thirty days of public information before the tender

The signature date of the decree is October 22, 2026, one week before its publication in the provincial bulletin.

The budgetary operation is not insignificant for a small-sized council: the 99,873.55 euros including VAT place it as one of the major municipal investments of this fiscal year in the municipality, and the two-month execution period allows the work to be planned within the same year.

The publication of the announcement allows any citizen or company in the sector to consult the file before the works go to contract. For the residents of Riu Street, the document establishes the formal framework of the project to renew the water and sewage networks, and for construction companies, it is the prior notice that, if there are no objections, the tender will arrive in the coming weeks.
