Calzada de Calatrava somete a información pública la licencia de un bar-karaoke

The City Council of Calzada de Calatrava has opened the public information process for the activity license requested for a karaoke bar at number 7 Coronel Molina Street, in the urban center of the town. The announcement, signed by the mayor Gema María García Ríos, is published in the Local Administration section of the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 213, corresponding to Wednesday, November 4, 2026, under announcement number 3542. Interested parties have twenty business days to submit allegations.

Who is promoting the venue and who signed the project

The application was filed by Jefferson Alexander Hernández Olivares, acting in his own name, and the technical project was drafted by the technical architect Alicia Fernández Jiménez. The file refers to the activity of a karaoke bar in a property located in the heart of Calzada de Calatrava, although the edict does not detail the planned capacity, the operating hours, or the soundproofing corrective measures accompanying the report.

The cost of the administrative processing is recorded: the procedure is based on article 82.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, which requires files to be submitted for public information when the nature of the activity may affect third parties.

How and where to submit allegations

The edict sets the rules of the process for those who consider themselves affected by the activity intended to be implemented:

  • Deadline: twenty business days counted from the day following the publication of the edict in the Official Gazette of the Province, that is, starting from November 5, 2026. With the ordinary count of business days, the process would close in early December, excluding holidays.
  • Form: a written document addressed to the City Council Secretariat, containing the observations or allegations deemed pertinent.
  • File consultation: the file is deposited in the municipal offices and can be examined during office hours.

The announcement appears on page 10371 of the gazette and carries the secure verification code pjAKLCDzUh1biu+xVEou, which allows its authenticity to be verified on the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real. The electronic signature of the head of the B.O.P. section, Juan Luis Cuadros Campo, is dated November 3, 2026, one day before publication.

Noise and security, in the neighborhood focus

The opening of a leisure venue with music and karaoke on a central street is the type of case that usually concentrates neighborhood attention, due to its potential impact on rest and coexistence. Since it is a bar activity with karaoke performances, the main grounds for objection will be the sound emission levels and the acoustic insulation of the building, in addition to the evacuation and security conditions that must be included in the technical project.

The process opened now is not a definitive authorization, but the preliminary phase in which the City Council of Calzada de Calatrava must assess citizen observations before ruling on the activity license. The corporation is presided over by Gema María García Ríos, who signs the edict along with the file deposited in the municipal offices.

A brief but decisive process

The public information period is the only formal channel residents have to record their reservations before the license is resolved: what is not alleged within these twenty business days will be difficult to argue later. For the residents of Coronel Molina Street and its surroundings, the period opened by the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real on November 4 is, therefore, the opportunity to demand specific conditions for soundproofing, schedules, and capacity for a leisure venue set to occupy a central corner of the municipality.
