Limestones in Lumpiaque: Cabezo del Ruido exploitation open for public consultation

The Provincial Service of Zaragoza of the Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment of the Government of Aragon has submitted for public information and participation the request for authorization to exploit the resource utilization of Section A), industrial-use limestones, named “Cabezo del Ruido”, number 473, together with its environmental impact study and its restoration plan. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 168, of August 31, 2026, with reference BOA20260831010.

The procedure is opened in accordance with Article 28 of Law 11/2014, of December 4, on Environmental Prevention and Protection of Aragon, and Article 6 of Royal Decree 975/2009, of June 12, on the management of waste from extractive industries and the protection and rehabilitation of areas affected by mining activities.
