CACSA awards the event technician position and creates a job pool

The City of Arts and Sciences, SAU (CACSA) has resolved the definitive filling of position number 139, medium-level technician for acts and events, through internal promotion and via the competitive examination system, and has publicized the result of the selection process and the establishment of the temporary employment pool. The decision was adopted by Resolution of August 17, 2026, from the entity’s General Directorate, published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana) no. 10437, of August 26, 2026, with reference DOGV-C-2026-27442.

The position is definitively awarded to Carolina Ortiz-Villajos Arocha, permanent contractual staff of the entity, who obtained the highest score in the process. The resolution, signed by the general director Ana María Ortells Miralles, concludes a procedure initiated with the call published in DOGV no. 10292, of January 30, 2026, with document number 2026/2721.

Regulatory framework of the process

The call is framed within the VI Agreement of the Social Dialogue Commission of the Instrumental Public Sector of the Generalitat, approved by Resolution of April 27, 2022, by the Minister of Finance and Economic Model, which establishes the general criteria for public employment offers, temporary employment pools, and stabilization processes derived from Law 20/2021, of December 28, on urgent measures for the reduction of temporary employment in the public sector. The II Collective Agreement for contractual staff serving the regional Administration is also applied.

Following the publication of the final scores via Resolution of July 10, 2026, and once the requirements and merits of the proposed candidate were verified, the mandatory favorable reports from the ministries with competencies in finance and the public sector were submitted.

Award and effects

The awardee must begin the provision of services within twenty business days counting from the day following the publication or notification of the resolution, at which time the employment contract as permanent contractual staff will be formalized and the cessation from the position held, if applicable, will occur.

• Awardee: Carolina Ortiz-Villajos Arocha (DNI *7216).

Temporary employment pool

Once the process is completed, an ordinary temporary employment pool is established for the temporary coverage of positions within the group and/or professional category subject to the call, with priority over other pools and extraordinary forms of selection. It consists of the applicants who passed any of the tests, ordered by total score, and will remain in effect until a new pool is established for the same group.

• 2nd María Esperanza Vela Hernández — 72.62 points.
• 3rd Laura Martínez Martínez — 71.74 points.

The operation of the pool is governed by the aforementioned VI Agreement and by the operating rules for temporary employment pools of CACSA, published in the DOGV no. 10323, of March 16, 2026, with document number 2026/8401.

The resolution will be published on the notice board of the electronic headquarters, in the Transparency Portal, and in the entity’s Employment Portal. Against this resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, interested parties may file a labor lawsuit within two months before the social court of València, in accordance with Article 69 of Law 36/2011, of October 10, regulating social jurisdiction.

This news directly concerns the candidates of the selection process, who now join a priority pool through which CACSA can cover temporary staffing needs in the acts and events area in an agile and orderly manner, guaranteeing transparency and active publicity of the instrumental public sector of the Generalitat.
