The Local Governing Board of the Cabrera de Mar City Council definitively approved on September 29, 2026, the executive project for the redevelopment of Plaça Nova 1 d’Octubre, valued at 720,939.37 euros including VAT. The agreement, processed under file number 2026/919, is made public through an edict in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on October 22, 2026, with the official reference CVE 202610154160. The drafting of the project was carried out by the firm Batlle i Roig, architects.
The approval is definitive and exhausts the administrative route. The edict supports the procedure under article 119.2 of Legislative Decree 1/2010, of August 3, which approves the Revised Text of the Urban Planning Law, with the modifications introduced by Law 3/2012, of February 22, and requires the resolution to be notified to the interested parties listed in the file.
The document is signed by Albert Ventura Viñals, Councilor for Territory, Sustainability, and Sports, and is promoted by the Public Space and Urban Services Department of the Cabrera de Mar City Council. The publication in the provincial gazette is the channel that provides official dissemination of the agreement, along with the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC) and the municipal electronic office.
Three agreements in a single edict
The text of the Local Governing Board’s agreement contains three linked resolutions:
- Definitively approve the executive project for the redevelopment of Plaça Nova 1 d’Octubre, drafted by Batlle i Roig, architects, for an amount of 720,939.37 euros including VAT.
- Notify the resolution to the interested parties listed in the file, in compliance with article 119.2 of Legislative Decree 1/2010.
- Publish the definitive approval agreement in the BOPB, the DOGC, and the City Council’s electronic office.
The approved amount, seven hundred twenty thousand nine hundred thirty-nine euros and thirty-seven cents, includes VAT and is the reference figure for the executive project which is now finalized.
Publication and scope of the agreement
The edict appears in the local administration section of the provincial gazette, dated October 22, 2026, with reference CVE 202610154160, and occupies page 1-1 of the document. Simultaneous dissemination in the DOGC and the municipal electronic office completes the triple publicity channel expressly provided for in the agreement.
The project affects Plaça Nova 1 d’Octubre, in Cabrera de Mar, and its definitive approval enables the execution of the redevelopment works planned in the executive project.
Two months to appeal
Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, interested parties have the following avenues:
- Contentious-administrative appeal within a period of two months, counted from the day after receipt of the notification, before the contentious-administrative court of Barcelona.
- Any other appeal deemed appropriate, at any of the locations established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, including the City Council’s electronic office.
For the residents of Cabrera de Mar, the agreement closes the urban planning processing of the project and opens the door to the material execution of a work of more than 720,000 euros in the public space, with the official publication as a guarantee of transparency and citizen control over the deadlines and scope of the works.
