Cabanillas del Campo announces a vacancy for an A2 management technician position

The City Council of Cabanillas del Campo has announced the selective procedure for the definitive provision, through the system of competitive examination and open entry, of one position for Management Technician, classified within the General Administration scale, Technical subscale, group A, subgroup A2. The call and its regulatory bases are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, number 167, dated September 1, 2026.

The decision stems from the Mayoral Decree of August 27, 2026, signed by Mayor José García Salinas, which approves the bases and opens the application period. The process is governed by Law 4/2011, of March 10, on Public Employment of Castilla-La Mancha, and by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, which approves the Revised Text of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee.

Requirements and Required Qualifications

To participate, applicants must meet the general requirements for access to public employment and hold one of the university degrees linked to the legal and economic functions of the position:

• Degree in Law.
• Degree in Economics.
• Degree in Public Management and Administration.

Degrees from previous academic plans with similar content, as well as foreign qualifications recognized by the competent body, will also be admissible. Requirements must be met by the day the application period ends and maintained until the assumption of office.

Deadline, Applications, and Fee

Applications should preferably be submitted electronically through the City Council’s electronic office, and the deadline will be 20 business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette. Participation requires the prior payment of the examination fee, set at 30 euros in accordance with article 7.8 of the municipal Fiscal Ordinance, which must be deposited into the bank account ES40 2100 8773 0022 0005 8975.

The application must be accompanied by a photocopy of the ID (DNI) and proof of payment of the fee. Failure to pay or submission after the deadline will result in the exclusion of the applicant, and this defect cannot be rectified.

Selection System and Tribunal

The process consists of two phases. The first, the competitive examination, consists of a theoretical and practical knowledge test of 170 questions plus 10 reserve questions, with a maximum time of 210 minutes; incorrect answers penalize one-third, and a minimum of 5 points in each part is required to pass the exercise. The second phase is a three-month internship period, which is eliminatory, with a minimum score of 2.5 points.

The Qualifying Board will be composed of a president and four members, based in the town hall building at Plaza del Pueblo, number 1. The order of appearance for the applicants will begin with the letter “U”, in accordance with the draw published by the State Secretariat for Civil Service in the BOE of August 1, 2025.
