Córdoba rectifica las bases de 15 plazas de Auxiliar Administrativo

The Córdoba City Council has rectified a material error detected in the rules of the call for 15 Administrative Assistant positions: the first exercise of the competitive examination phase will require 30 correct answers, and not 35, to achieve a score of five. The correction was approved by Decree No. 2026/18176, dated October 19, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba No. 210, dated October 29, 2026, in the edict with reference BOP-A-2026-3561 (pp. 15637-15638).

The rectification affects the rules approved by Decree No. 2026/13290, dated August 3, 2026, which govern the call for the permanent filling of 15 Administrative Assistant positions through the competition-examination system, under the horizontal internal promotion shift, and which belong to the 2024 Public Employment Offer of the Most Excellent City Council of Córdoba. The error was located in the competitive examination phase, specifically in the “First Exercise” section, where the number of required correct answers did not correspond to the percentage established in the rule itself.

The competent body to resolve this is the Deputy Mayor Delegated for Human Resources and Occupational Health, acting under the powers of the Mayor provided for in Article 124 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, as amended by Law 57/2003, of December 16, and those delegated by Mayoral Decree 8377, of June 17, 2023, and by the agreement of the Local Government Board No. 602, of June 26, 2023. The rectification is supported by Article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, which allows for the correction of material, arithmetic, or factual errors in administrative acts at any time.

What exactly changes in the first exercise

The corrected text keeps the structure of the test intact and only alters the number of valid answers necessary to pass it:

  • Questionnaire of 60 questions with three alternative answers, prepared by the members of the Qualifying Tribunal and based on the syllabus of ANNEX II.
  • Maximum duration of 80 minutes, with a single valid answer among those offered.
  • Before the rectification: 35 correct answers to obtain a five.
  • After the rectification: 30 correct answers to obtain a five.

The inconsistency was arithmetic: the rule established the criterion as 50% of the correct questions, which for 60 questions equals 30 correct answers, while the original text required 35.

Administrative scope of the correction

The decree is limited to rectifying the material error of Decree No. 2026/13290 and literally orders the substitution of the affected paragraph, without modifying the rest of the bases or the selection system. As this is a correction of a material error and not a new call for applications, the deadline for submitting applications is not reopened, nor are the other requirements of the process altered.

The edict is published “for general knowledge” and bears the signature of Soledad Fernández Abellá, Head of the Selection Department, in Córdoba on October 19, 2026, with the secure verification code DE3B D7BF F3E7 EF16 3E77.

Consequences for applicants

The correction lowers the cutoff threshold for the first exercise by five correct answers, the test that traditionally acts as a filter in the internal promotion processes of the Córdoba City Council. Applicants preparing for these 15 positions must adjust their target calculations to the new figure of 30 correct answers out of 60 questions, which is the one that will be applied in the scoring to achieve a five in the first exercise. The rectification comes after the City Council itself recognized the error and verified its reality before issuing the decree.
