Córdoba publishes the provisional list for five computer scientist positions

The Córdoba City Council has made public the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the call to fill five permanent positions for Senior IT Technician, through the open competitive examination system. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 201, dated October 16, 2026, with official reference BOP-A-2026-3423, and opens a ten-day period for excluded applicants to rectify the defect that led to their exclusion.

The positions are included in the 2022 Public Employment Offer of the Córdoba Council and will be filled by open competition. The provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants is not reproduced in full in the gazette: it is displayed on the Electronic Edict Board of the Córdoba City Council (https://sede.cordoba.es) and, for information purposes, on the Electronic Office, in the “Call Inquiry” section.

The same gazette includes the appointment of the qualifying tribunal, approved by Decree No. 16891, of October 1, 2026. The resolution was signed in Córdoba on October 7, 2026, by the Deputy Mayor of Human Resources and Occupational Health, Cintia Bustos Muñoz.

Composition of the qualifying tribunal

The selection body is composed of titular and substitute members with technical profiles, including municipal personnel and staff from other administrations:

• Chairmanship: Manuel Antonio Osuna Soto, Technical Advisor to the Córdoba City Council, as titular, and María Pérez García, Deputy General Director of Security and Human Resources of the same City Council, as substitute.
• First Member: Mª Carmen Oria Ratia, Head of the Archives Department of the Córdoba City Council (titular), and Francisco J. Duque Pintor, Head of the Strategic Cabinet of the Digital Agency of Andalusia (substitute).
• Second Member: José Mª Pérez Puentes, Secondary Education Teacher (titular), and Eugenio González Ramírez, Analyst at the University of Córdoba (substitute).
• Third Member: Mª del Carmen Parra Fontalva, General Assistant to the Plenary of the Córdoba City Council (titular), and Edmundo Sáez Peña, Career Civil Servant of the Regional Government of Andalusia (substitute).
• Fourth Member: Raquel Gómez Serrano, General Administration Technician, and Fernando García Morales, General Administration Technician, both from the Córdoba City Council, as titular and substitute.
• Secretariat: Soledad Fernández Abella, Head of the Selection Department (titular), and Manuel Rodríguez Victori, HR Technical Advisor (substitute), both from the Córdoba City Council.

Rectification period and publicity of announcements

Excluded applicants have a period of ten days, counting from the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, to remedy the defect that led to the exclusion. Once this period has elapsed without correction, the exclusion shall be considered final.

The announcement further warns that successive notices regarding this call for applications will be published exclusively on the Electronic Notice Board of the Córdoba City Council, therefore interested parties must follow the procedure through that channel and not through the provincial gazette.

Date, time, and location of the first exercise

The competitive phase will begin with a single, in-person session:

• Date: November 4, 2026.
• Time: 11:00 AM.
• Location: Faculty of Medicine and Nursing, Avenida Menéndez Pidal s/n, Room 13 (North Building), Córdoba.
• Mandatory materials: pen and ID (DNI), or any other document proving identity (driver’s license or passport, exclusively).

The call is part of the stabilization process and the filling of technological positions for the Córdoba City Council, which is simultaneously maintaining another selection process for three positions of the same category via internal promotion, also linked to the 2022 Public Employment Offer.

For applicants, the publication establishes two immediate milestones: the ten-day period to correct formal defects and the date of the first exercise on November 4. The composition of the tribunal, with a majority of members external to the municipal IT area, reinforces the technical specialization required for the five advertised positions.
