Por FactBox Admin

The Cáceres City Council has approved the provisional list of persons admitted and excluded from the temporary job bank for Public Works Technical Engineer, convened via a competitive examination for the open entry track. The approval is formalized by Mayoral Resolution number 2026007854, dated October 9, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres no. 0197, dated October 14, 2026, with official reference CVE BOP-2026-4797. The full announcement including the list is displayed on the municipal Notice Board and on the website www.ayto-caceres.es.
Provisional list and claims period
The resolution is issued to comply with the provisions of the third clause of the call, once the deadline for submitting applications has ended. According to the official text, the period was twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province, which took place in BOP no. 51, dated March 16, 2026.
The configuration of the provisional list is carried out in accordance with the proposal report from the General Secretariat of the Corporation. The announcement published in the gazette does not reproduce the nominal details of the applicants: the complete list is displayed on the Notice Board of the Most Excellent City Council of Cáceres and on the municipal website.
The key data of the procedure are as follows:
- Resolving body: Mayor’s Office of the Cáceres City Council.
- Resolution: no. 2026007854, dated October 9, 2026.
- Publication: BOP of Cáceres no. 0197, dated October 14, 2026, page 23399.
- Official reference: CVE BOP-2026-4797.
- Claims period: ten business days from the day following the publication of the announcement.
- Location to consult the list: municipal Notice Board and www.ayto-caceres.es.
Prior modification of the examination program
The call carried a recent modification. The BOP of Cáceres no. 0193, dated October 8, 2026 (CVE BOP-2026-4714) published the modification of the selective examination program by Mayoral Resolution no. 2026007789, dated October 6, 2026, issued as a result of an appeal for reversal.
The new program is structured in two parts:
- General part: six topics on the 1978 Constitution, territorial organization of the State, local regime, Law 39/2015, Law 40/2015, and the Law 8/2011 on equality of Extremadura.
- Specific part: twenty-two topics on public procurement (Law 9/2017), roads, layout and drainage standards of the Road Instruction, pavements, signaling, health and safety in works, accessibility, integrated water cycle, construction waste, environmental protection, Municipal General Plan of Cáceres, and sensor technologies and sustainability applied to infrastructures.
Framework of the selection process
The position is part of the Infrastructure Area of the Cáceres city council, and the selection system is a competitive examination (concurso-oposición) via the open track, aimed at establishing a temporary job bank rather than the definitive filling of a post.
The announcement appears in Section I – Local Administration, within the City Councils section, and was signed in Cáceres on October 13, 2026, by Juan Miguel González Palacios, Secretary General of the corporation.
The publication in the official bulletin begins the counting of the claims period; therefore, the date of October 14, 2026, marks the start of the ten business days for applicants to challenge their exclusion or any defect in the list.
Impact for applicants
The resolution enables the following phase of the process: once the claims are resolved, the provisional list will give way to the final one and, subsequently, to the holding of the selection tests. For applicants, the announcement sets a brief and peremptory period of ten business days to file appeals and confirms that the nominal list can only be consulted on the Notice Board and on the municipal website, not in the bulletin itself.
