Cáceres announces three positions by competitive examination: two janitor positions and one technical position.

The Cáceres City Council has made public the selection rules for the permanent filling, through the open competition, of three municipal staff posts: two caretaker posts and one commerce and business technician post. The announcements are published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura No. 157, of 14 August 2026. Interested parties will have 20 working days to submit their applications, counted from the day following the publication of each call in the Official State Gazette.

The announcements bear the signature of the secretary of the City Council, Pilar de la Osa Tejado, dated 4 and 5 August 2026, and serve to give publicity to rules that had already been published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres. These are two independent selection processes, with posts provided for in the budget, corresponding to the public employment offers of 2024 and 2025.

Two caretaker positions

The call for applications with reference 2026081393 covers two caretaker positions belonging to the Special Administration Scale, Subaltern Subscale, included in the 2025 public employment offer. The selection system will be that of a combined merit and competitive examination, through the open competition, and its rules were published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres No. 147, of 4 August 2026.

A commerce and business technician position

The call for applications with reference 2026081392 covers one commerce and business technician position, belonging to the Special Administration Scale, Middle Technical Class, corresponding to the 2024 public employment offer. The process will be conducted through the competitive examination system, by the open competition, and its rules appeared in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres No. 145, of 31 July 2026.

Deadline and channels for submission

• Application deadline: 20 working days, counted from the day following the publication of the call in the Official State Gazette.
• Submission: in the manner and with the requirements established in the rules published in the provincial gazette.
• Subsequent announcements for both processes will be made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres and/or on the Notice Board of the Electronic Headquarters of the City Council.
• All information will also be available in the Employment Offers section of the municipal electronic office (https://sede.caceres.es).

The two calls expand the local public employment offer of the province of Cáceres in both subaltern positions and technical posts linked to commerce and business. With their publication in the Official Gazette of Extremadura, the City Council completes the official dissemination of the processes, which will be resolved in accordance with the rules already approved and published in the provincial gazette.
