Por FactBox Admin

The Cáceres City Council has announced four positions for labor personnel to be filled permanently through the competitive examination system, in the free turn. The two announcements, one for two positions as Crane Driver and another for two positions as Cemetery Laborer, were published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) number 158, on Monday, August 17, 2026, in its Section IV of Notices.

The resolutions emanate from the Mayor’s Office of the Cáceres City Council, which approved both announcements through two separate resolutions. The first notice bears reference 26081394 and was signed by Secretary Pilar de la Osa Tejado on August 5, 2026. The second, with reference 26081396, was signed by Secretary Fidela Romero Díaz on August 6, 2026.

Announcement: two positions as Crane Driver

Resolution of the Mayor’s Office number 2026006416, dated August 4, 2026, approved the call for the permanent coverage of two positions as Crane Driver, vacant in the City Council’s labor personnel roster. The positions correspond to the 2023 and 2024 public employment offers and are assigned to Group C, Subgroup C2, with the right to receive the basic remuneration of said group.

Applicants must submit their applications within a period of 20 business days, counted from the day following the date of publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette. The complete terms of the announcement were previously published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres (BOPCáceres) number 147, of August 4, 2026.

Announcement: two positions as Cemetery Laborer

Resolution of the Mayor’s Office number 2026006444, dated August 5, 2026, approved the call for the permanent coverage of two positions as Cemetery Laborer, also vacant in the labor personnel roster. These positions correspond to Professional Groups and belong to the 2024 and 2025 public employment offers.

As in the previous announcement, the deadline for submitting applications is 20 business days from publication in the BOE. The full terms were also published in BOPCáceres number 147, of August 4, 2026. Subsequent notices regarding both announcements will be disseminated in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres and on the Notice Board of the Electronic Headquarters of the City Council (https://sede.caceres.es).

Access to information and deadlines

Both calls share the same processing mechanism. Interested parties may consult the full terms and conditions on the Electronic Headquarters of the Cáceres City Council, under the Job Offers section, as well as in the BOPCáceres and the DOE. The 20-business-day deadline begins the day after the publication of the call in the BOE, leaving the window for submitting applications open over the coming weeks.

The four positions announced are part of the policy to stabilize the temporary staff of the Cáceres City Council, framed within the public employment offers approved in recent years (2023, 2024 and 2025). These are permanent positions, filled through a competitive examination in the free-access turn, which guarantees the principles of merit, ability and publicity in access to public employment.
