Burgos opens the application period for All Saints' Day flower stalls

The Burgos City Council has approved the specifications governing the awarding of authorizations for the installation of street vending stalls for flowers on the occasion of the All Saints’ Day holiday, which will be held on October 29, 30, and 31, 2026. The resolution is dated September 15, 2026, and was issued by the delegated councilor for Trade, César Barriada Herbosa. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 180, dated September 22, 2026, within section III. Local Administration, with the official reference BOPBUR-2026-03999.

The object of the call

The file, identified as 9/2026 BCOCUC-COM, is processed by the Industry, Trade, and Consumption Section of the city council. Direct award or by lottery

The award criterion is simple and does not score economic offers: if there is only one applicant per stall, the authorization is granted directly. When more than one applicant competes for the same stall, the City Council will resolve it by lottery.

The lottery will be held on October 23, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., at the offices of the Trade Section. This date is barely six days before the start of the activity, meaning the awardees will have a very short window to organize their installation.

The call for applications arrives with a tight schedule: less than two weeks pass between the publication of the announcement and the closing date for applications, and the draw is resolved in the same week that the campaign begins.
