Burela authorizes three civil marriages in the Plenary Hall in September

The Mayor’s Office of the Burela Council has authorized three civil marriages to be held during the month of September in the municipal Plenary Hall. The decision, adopted by decree of the mayor María del Carmen López Moreno, delegates the authority for authorization to the deputy mayors of the Corporation.
The three announcements are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo, number 188, of Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in the councils section, under references R. 2219, R. 2220, and R. 2221.
Delegation of powers
The delegation is based on article 23.4 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime; article 61.3 of Law 5/97, of July 22, on Local Administration of Galicia; articles 43 and 44 of Royal Decree 2.568/86, of November 28, which approves the Regulation of Organization, Operation and Legal Regime of Local Entities; and as provided in articles 58.1 of Law 20/2011, of July 21, on the Civil Registry, and 51 of the Civil Code.
The decree, adopted by the Mayor’s Office on August 21, 2024, further establishes that the resolution will be forwarded to the Corporate Plenary at the first ordinary session it holds.
The three ceremonies
The authorized marriages, with their dates and times, are as follows:
- Iván Saavedra Gay and Azucena Pumar Galdo, on September 7, 2026, at 12:00 hours, with delegation to the First Deputy Mayor Mario Pillado Mon (R. 2219).
- Belén Feijoo Prada and Antonio Lorenzo Rubiños, on September 5, 2026, at 18:00 hours, with delegation to the First Deputy Mayor Mario Pillado Mon (R. 2220).
- Laura Abad Rey and Bruno Díaz Fernández, on September 4, 2026, at 12:00 hours, with delegation to the Second Deputy Mayor Ramiro Fernández Rey (R. 2221).
All ceremonies will take place in the Plenary Hall of the Burela Council, the institutional space where the municipality usually celebrates civil unions.
