Briviesca releases public information regarding the sale of three plots in La Vega
Por FactBox Admin

The Briviesca City Council has released for public consultation the sale of three municipal plots located in the “La Vega” industrial estate, an operation that puts more than 125,000 square meters of land on the market for companies and developers in the region. The decision stems from the agreement adopted by the City Council Plenary on July 24, 2026, which initiated disposal file number 1446/2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 167, dated September 3, 2026, with reference BOPBUR-2026-03737.
The three properties for sale
The file includes three municipally-owned properties, all registered in the Property Registry of Briviesca with their corresponding cadastral references:
- Property 1: plot of 18,521 m², cadastral reference 4331211VN7143S0001SK, registered as property 22.007.
- Property 2: plot of 102,179 m², cadastral reference 4331201VN7143S0001KK, registered as property 22.006.
- Property 3: plot of 4,782 m², cadastral reference 4331212VN7143S0001ZK, registered as property 22.035.
Together, the three plots total 125,482 m² of surface area, making this operation one of the largest offers of industrial land made available to the market in the area in recent years.
Period for objections and legal framework
The file is subject to public consultation for a period of 15 business days from the publication of the announcement, in accordance with article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, and article 4 of Decree 128/1984, of December 5, on the Protection of the Heritage of Local Entities and Updating of Inventories of Castilla y León.
During this period, any interested party may examine the file at the municipal offices and submit any objections and claims they deem appropriate. The document will also be available on the council’s electronic office (https://briviesca.sedelectronica.es). Once the period has ended, and should objections be submitted in a timely and proper manner, the Plenary will rule expressly upon them.
Relevance for the region
The sale of these plots in the “La Vega” estate represents a significant opportunity to attract industrial and logistics activity to Briviesca, the head of the Bureba region and a strategic enclave due to its connection with the Ebro corridor and the A-1 highway. The announcement, signed on August 28, 2026, by the mayor, José Solas Martínez, opens the door for companies and developers to submit their offers and objections within the legal timeframe, in a process that the council hopes to conclude with the awarding of the land to new productive projects.
