Briviesca appoints Serrano González as cultural events technician

The Briviesca City Council has appointed María de las Mercedes Serrano González as a career civil servant in the role of technical manager for cultural, sporting, and recreational events, effective from September 1, 2026. The decision, adopted by resolution of the mayor dated August 21, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 166, dated September 2, 2026, with reference BOPBUR-2026-03653.

The position is filled through the open competitive examination system and was included in the 2025 public employment offer. The new civil servant joins the special administration scale, technical sub-scale, in classification group A, subgroup A2, as provided for in Article 76 of the revised text of the Law of the Basic Statute of Public Employees, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30.
