Public information is opened for rehabilitation or paving in O Saviñao and Lugo-O Corgo

The Provincial Council of Lugo has opened a public information period of twenty (20) business days for two pavement rehabilitation projects on provincial roads, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo no. 212, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 (reference R. 2450). The deadline for submitting allegations, claims, or suggestions begins to count from the day following the publication of the edict.

The announcement, signed by the general secretary José Antonio Mourelle Cillero dated September 11, 2026, emanates from the Contracting and Development Service, Works and Plans Unit of the Council, which took both projects into consideration.

Two projects on provincial roads

The works affect three routes of the provincial network and were identified with files 2026/CON_02/000082 and 2026/CON_02/000084:

• O Saviñao (file 2026/CON_02/000082): pavement rehabilitation with chip seal on road LU-P-5809 “Escairón (LU-P4102) – Madredauga (LU-P-5807)”, between kilometer points 0+000 and 3+755.
• Lugo – O Corgo (file 2026/CON_02/000084): pavement rehabilitation on road LU-P-2918 “Lugo (LU-530) – Santa María de Bóveda – Adai (LU-P-1602)”, between k.p. 0+000 and 5+715.
• In the same file, road LU-P-2922 “Carballido (LU-530) – Nadela (N-VI)”, between k.p. 0+000 and 2+082.

Legal framework and deadline for allegations

The procedure is governed by article 93 of the Revised Text of the Legal Provisions in Force regarding Local Regime (T.R.R.L.), approved by Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, as well as by article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

During the public exhibition period, legitimate persons or entities may submit allegations, claims, or suggestions regarding the projects. The full text of both files is available on the transparency portal of the Provincial Council of Lugo (portaltransparencia.deputacionlugo.org).

The pavement rehabilitation on these provincial routes directly affects residents and public works companies of O Saviñao and the Lugo-O Corgo corridor, a common communication axis between the capital and the region.
