Brazuelo delegates powers to hire two laborers with PLANIEL

The Brazuelo City Council has delegated to the First Deputy Mayor, Mr. Pedro Fernández Pérez, the authority to process the hiring of two full-time workers in the category of multi-purpose laborer. The hiring will be carried out under the PLANIEL 2026 grant from the Regional Government of Castilla y León, as stated in the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León number 167, dated September 2, 2026.

The delegation was agreed upon by Mayoral Resolution of August 11, 2026, and is published for the appropriate purposes, in accordance with the provisions of Article 9.3 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, and Article 44.2 of Royal Decree 2568/1986, of November 28, which approves the Regulations on the Organization, Operation, and Legal Regime of Local Entities.

Hiring funded with regional funds

PLANIEL is the program of the Regional Government of Castilla y León intended to finance the hiring of personnel in the community’s municipalities, with the aim of generating local employment and strengthening public services in rural areas. In this case, the grant will allow the municipality of Brazuelo, in the Maragatería region, to incorporate two full-time multi-purpose laborers.

The processing of the file remains in the hands of the First Deputy Mayor, who assumes the competence delegated by the Mayor’s Office to drive the selection and hiring process for the two workers.

The delegation of competencies between organs of the same administration is governed by the regulations of the legal regime of the public sector and by the regulations on the organization and operation of local entities. The announcement expressly includes the precepts that support the measure:

  • Article 9.3 of Law 40/2015, which regulates the delegation of competencies between administrative bodies.
  • Article 44.2 of Royal Decree 2568/1986, relating to the delegation of powers to members of the local corporation.
