Bornos eleva a definitivo un suplemento de crédito de 590.000 euros

The Bornos City Council has made credit supplement no. 01/2026 definitive, for an amount of 589,993.35 euros, fully financed by the treasury surplus for general expenses. The decision, adopted by the Plenary in its initial approval agreement of July 31, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 175, dated September 10, 2026.

As no objections were filed during the public exhibition period, the agreement has been automatically made definitive, in compliance with article 169.1, by reference to 179.4, of the Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the Revised Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries. The processed file is no. 2026_11010_MOP_00025.

Financing

The expenses are financed through budget application 87000, “Treasury Surplus for General Expenses”, for the total amount of 589,993.35 euros. This is, therefore, a budget modification that does not increase municipal debt, as it is funded by the available liquid resources of the corporation itself.

Appeals

Against this agreement, by virtue of the provisions of article 113 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, interested parties may directly file a contentious-administrative appeal in the form and within the time limits established in articles 25 to 43 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, Regulating said Jurisdiction.

The announcement, signed on August 28, 2026, by the mayor, Hugo Palomares Beltrán, reinforces the council’s spending capacity in essential areas such as public safety, municipal staff, and basic services, without resorting to new debt.
