Bordils licita el nou paviment del poliesportiu municipal del Pavelló Torrentó

The Bordils City Council has definitively approved the works project for the replacement of the flooring and the painting of the court lines at the municipal sports center, known as the Torrentó Pavilion, with a tender budget of 132,206.87 euros (VAT included). The decision was adopted by Mayoral Decree no. 2026DECR000196, dated September 10, 2026, and is made public via an edict in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (no. 178, of September 16, 2026, edict 8004, CVE BOP-2026_0_178_8004).

The agreement concludes the administrative process and is published in compliance with Article 38 of the Regulations on works, activities, and services of local entities, which requires the publication of the definitive approval of municipal works projects. The project, processed under file no. X2026000342, aims for the comprehensive renovation of the court flooring and the repainting of the court lines, an action intended to improve the usage conditions of the sports facility.

The edict is signed by the mayor, Montserrat Pou Costa, on September 10, 2026.

Deadlines and appeals

As this is a definitive agreement, interested parties have the following avenues for appeal:

  • Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Girona, within a period of two months starting from the day after the publication of the edict.
  • Optional appeal for reversal before the Mayor’s Office, within a period of one month from the day after publication.
  • If the appeal for reversal is not expressly resolved within one month, it will be understood as dismissed by administrative silence, and the contentious appeal may be filed within a period of six months from the presumed dismissal.

Impact on the sporting community

The renovation of the flooring at the Torrentó Pavilion is a work of direct interest to the local sporting community, as the facility hosts the municipality’s sporting activities and the repainting of the court lines will allow the court to be adapted to current regulations. With a budget of over 132,000 euros, the action represents a significant investment in the sporting infrastructures of Bordils, which will be materialized once the tender for the works is resolved.
