Bordils aprova el col·lector de drenatge del carrer Migdia per 836.129 euros

The Plenary of the Bordils City Council definitively approved the project for the works of the new urban drainage collector on Migdia Street, with a tender budget of 836,129.50 euros, VAT included. The agreement was adopted in an ordinary session on September 28, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC) no. 9769, of October 8, 2026, with the official reference CVE-DOGC-A-26278099-2026 and file number X2025000594.

The edict, signed by Mayor Montserrat Pou Costa in Bordils on October 5, 2026, complies with the provisions of Article 38 of the Regulations on works, activities, and services of local entities. The publication of the official bulletin to the Local Administration makes the approval a definitive act that ends the administrative route and opens the door to judicial challenge.

A 836,129.50 euro project approved by the Plenary

The approved project is titled “New urban drainage collector on Migdia Street” and aims to construct a new sanitation and water evacuation infrastructure on Migdia Street in the municipality. The fixed tender budget is 836,129.50 euros, VAT included, making it one of the most significant municipal investments in Bordils during the current term.

The definitive approval comes after passing through the Plenary in an ordinary session on September 28, 2026, and is the procedure that enables the City Council to tender and award the works. The official publication is the mechanism that provides general publicity to the agreement and guarantees knowledge by interested third parties.

Deadlines and avenues for appeal

The edict details the available avenues for challenging the agreement, which is definitive:

  • Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Girona, within a period of two months starting from the day following the publication of the edict.
  • Appeal for reversal before the Mayor’s Office of Bordils, on an optional and prior basis, within a period of one month from the day following the publication.
  • If one month passes from the filing of the appeal for reversal without an express notified resolution, it is understood to be dismissed; in this case, the contentious-administrative appeal may be filed within a period of six months.

Other municipal works in process

The publication of the collector is added to a series of definitive approvals of municipal projects in Bordils that have seen the light in the official bulletin in recent weeks:

  • Layout and paving of Onze de Setembre square, with a tender budget of 258,294.22 euros, VAT included (file X2025000608), approved by the Plenary on July 27, 2026, and published in DOGC no. 9766, of October 5, 2026.
  • Replacement of the pavement and painting of the field lines at the municipal sports center, Torrentó pavilion, for 132,206.87 euros, VAT included (file X2026000342), approved by mayoral decree on September 10, 2026.
  • Expansion of the collective self-consumption solar photovoltaic installation of 20 kW at Pista Vella, for 33,933.60 euros, VAT included (file X2026000329), also approved by mayoral decree on September 10, 2026.

Together, these actions outline a municipal investment package focused on sanitation, public space, sports facilities, and energy efficiency.

Impact for the municipality and for the sector

The new drainage collector on Migdia Street is the intervention with the highest economic value among those recently published by the Bordils City Council and, therefore, a prominent opportunity for construction and civil engineering companies participating in the tender. For the residents, the work responds to a basic infrastructure need: improving the water evacuation capacity of Migdia Street and reducing the risk of incidents during episodes of intense rain. The effective tender and execution schedule will depend on the procedures the City Council promotes from now on, once the challenge period has closed.
