Birth Bonus: 19.6 million for families in Castilla y León
Por FactBox Admin

The Department of Deregulation, Family and Social Aid of the Junta de Castilla y León has increased the allocation for the Birth Bonus to 19,600,000 euros, compared to the call currently in effect. The measure is approved by the Order of October 14, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León (BOCYL) number 201, of October 16, 2026, in section I.C.2 of Calls, pages 24 and 25, with the official reference BOCYL-D-16102026-201-8.
The order modifies the Resolution of February 20, 2026, of the Social Services Management of Castilla y León, which announces the Birth Bonus aimed at families in Castilla y León for the care of children by birth or adoption. The summary is published under articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, and is assigned the identifier BDNS 889807.
The full text of the call can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database and on the electronic headquarters of the Administration of the Community of Castilla y León, using the same identifier. The order was signed in Valladolid on October 14, 2026, by the counselor Carlos Pollán Fernández.
Budgetary allocation: 16.6 million in 2026 and 3 in 2027
The new section 1 of the Second Resolution establishes that the granting of the Birth Bonus will be charged to the budgetary application 09.21.231B06.48071.0 of the General Budgets of the Community of Castilla y León, for a total amount of 19,600,000.00 euros. The distribution by annuality is as follows:
- 2026 Annuity: 16,600,000.00 euros.
- 2027 Annuity: 3,000,000.00 euros.
The previous wording of the provision is replaced in its entirety by this new distribution, so that the bulk of the expenditure is concentrated in the current fiscal year and the remainder is committed for the next.
Payment will be made in a single installment via prepaid card
The order also rewrites section 2 of the Ninth Resolution, dedicated to the payment of the Birth Bonus. According to the new wording, the payment of the subsidy via the prepaid card will be made in a single payment after the aid has been granted.
In this way, the regulation eliminates any splitting of the payment and links the delivery of funds to the prior resolution of granting, a point of direct interest for the beneficiary families who have already applied for or plan to apply for the aid.
A call with a unique identifier in the National Database
The call maintains its publicity through two complementary channels: the National Subsidies Database, with the identifier 889807, and the regional electronic processing headquarters. Both allow for the consultation of the full text of the modified resolution and the order itself.
The excerpt published in the BOCYL summarizes the two approved changes—funding and payment method—and refers to the full text for the remainder of the articles, which are not altered by this modification.
The update of the funding and the payment regime provides continuity to a line of direct aid intended to provide financial support to families in Castilla y León on the occasion of a birth or adoption, and reinforces the program’s budget forecast for the next fiscal year.
