Temporary job pool for agricultural training teachers in Castilla y León

The Ministry of the Presidency of the Regional Government of Castilla y León has announced, through Order PRE/860/2026, dated September 2, the establishment of the temporary employment pool for the filling of Teacher positions at Agricultural Training Centers of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Environment, and Environmental Policy. The call is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 173, dated September 7, 2026, and sets the cutoff date as September 30, 2026.
The order is issued under Article 43 of Law 7/2005, of May 24, on the Public Service of Castilla y León, which establishes that the selection of interim civil service personnel shall be carried out through open and public pools or lists. Its implementation is supported by Decree 18/2025, of December 18, which regulates the selection of interim civil service personnel and temporary labor personnel of the General Administration of the Community and its autonomous bodies.
Recipients and requirements
Those who meet the requirements of nationality, qualification, age, capacity, and authorization required for access to any of the following Corps may register:
- Corps of Senior Engineers (Agronomists).
- Corps of Senior Engineers (Forestry).
- Senior Health Faculty Corps (Veterinarians).
- Corps of Technical Engineers (Agricultural).
- Corps of Technical Engineers (Forestry).
Additionally, applicants must hold the official University Master’s degree that qualifies them for the professions of Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate Teacher, Vocational Training, and Language Teaching, or the Pedagogical Aptitude Course, and possess a negative certificate of sexual offenses issued by the Central Registry of Sexual Offenders.
Procedure and merit scale
The procedure will be entirely electronic. The application is available on the Public Employees Portal of the Regional Government of Castilla y León, and registration may be carried out from the day following the publication of the order. The pool will remain permanently open for new entries.
Merits are valued according to Annex I of the order:
- 10 points for each eliminatory exercise passed in open access selection processes held in the last five years, up to a maximum of 40 points.
- 7 points for the exercise not passed in the last call, provided that at least 25% of the maximum score is obtained.
- Up to 0.05 points per month of experience as an interim civil servant in the regional Administration, with a maximum of 12 points.
- Up to 0.0375 points per month of experience in other equivalent Administrations, with a maximum of 9 points.
Pool management and deadlines
The call for applications will be made exclusively via electronic publication. On the 10th, 20th, and last day of each month, the positions whose coverage has been authorized will be published, and members may request the assignment of one or several positions in order of preference within 2 business days from the publication.
The provisional list of members and excluded persons will be published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León and on the Public Employees Portal, and interested parties will have ten business days to submit allegations. The management and constitution of the pool is delegated to the holder of the General Secretariat of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Environment, and Environmental Policy. The order, signed by the Counselor of the Presidency, Luis Miguel González Gago, exhausts the administrative route and may be appealed before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Valladolid.
The call opens a stable route for temporary access to teaching in the agricultural training centers of the Community, a field with a demand for technical and veterinary profiles. Those who meet the requirements and register before September 30 may apply for the positions filled on an interim basis for the 2026-2027 academic year.
