Bigastro auctions residential plot on María Zambrano Street

The Bigastro City Council has put out to tender the disposal of a municipal plot located at María Zambrano Street No. 38 (sector D6), via an ascending auction. The call, approved by Mayoral Resolution No. 502/2026 of September 7, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante on September 15, 2026, under file EXP. 2020/2026.
The asset, classified as municipal property, is offered as urban land for residential use, opening the door to developers and individuals interested in acquiring a plot in the municipality of the Vega Baja.
Object and characteristics of the plot
The plot subject to disposal is registered in the Property Registry of Orihuela and has its own cadastral reference. Its registry and urban planning data are as follows:
- Cadastral reference: 4346205XH8144N0001XZ
- Property Registry of Orihuela: Volume 2178, Book 81, Folio 79, Estate 6765
- Classification: urban land
- Dominant use: residential (single-family home, detached or semi-detached, RB)
- Compatible use: tertiary, up to a maximum of 15% of the total buildability
- Prohibited use: industrial
Procedure and guarantee
The disposal will be processed via ascending auction with the submission of two sealed envelopes, in accordance with the provisions established in the tender specifications. Interested parties must provide a guarantee of 3,766.45 euros to participate in the procedure.
The Particular Administrative Clauses Document and the rest of the file documentation are available to interested parties at the Electronic Office of the Bigastro City Council (bigastro.sedelectronica.es).
Deadline for submission of offers
Proposals may be submitted within a period of fifteen days, counting from the day following the publication of the tender announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante, in accordance with the PCAP. The announcement is signed by the mayor-president, Teresa María Belmonte, dated September 7, 2026.
The sale of this municipal land represents an opportunity for residential development in Bigastro, at a time when the demand for single-family housing maintains a growing pace in the region. The auction will allow the council to obtain resources from a municipal asset while facilitating a new supply of land for individuals and developers.
