BenOurense Infancia reparte 150.000 euros entre 43 concellos da provincia

The Provincial Council of Ourense has approved the granting of subsidies from the BenOurense Infancia cooperation program for complementary childhood care services for the 2026 financial year, with a total budget of 149,999.84 euros distributed among 43 municipalities in the province. The decision was adopted through the Presidency Resolution no. 2026/12754, dated August 28, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on September 8, 2026.

The program finances complementary childhood care services under municipal ownership, such as waiting classrooms, summer camps, early reception, healthy breakfasts, and family and work reconciliation programs, which directly affect families with minors throughout the province.

Regulatory framework and processing

The regulatory bases of the program were published definitively in BOP no. 121, of June 30, 2026, and in them, specifically in the third base “Amount of subsidies,” the economic distribution of the total budget among the municipalities that submitted their application for adhesion in a timely and proper manner is established.

Applications were submitted until July 21, 2026, and the technical report from the Welfare Area, dated August 27, 2026, reported the submission of a total of 43 applications for adhesion from local entities, all of which were submitted in a timely and proper manner and meet the established requirements.

Municipalities and funded services

The granted amounts range between 2,985.07 euros and 4,477.61 euros per municipality, depending on the complementary service requested. Among the funded services are:

  • Waiting classrooms and early care, as in Allariz, Amoeiro, or San Cristovo de Cea.
  • Summer camps, in municipalities such as Bande, Celanova, Maceda, Rairiz de Veiga, or Trasmiras.
  • Family and work reconciliation programs, such as “Concilia Avión”, “Plan concilia” in Barbadás, or “Family reconciliation space” in A Peroxa.
  • Healthy breakfasts, in Castrelo do Val and Oímbra.
  • Toy libraries and leisure activities, as in Lobeira, A Rúa, or San Cibrao das Viñas.

Publication and appeals

The resolution was published in the BOP and on the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Ourense for general knowledge. Against this agreement, which ends the administrative route, interested parties may file a request for annulment prior to a contentious-administrative appeal, or directly file a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Ourense, both within a period of two months from publication.

The resolution is signed by the delegated deputy for Social Policies, Reconciliation, and Active Aging, Ana Patricia Torres Madureira, by virtue of the delegation of Resolution 2023/9863, of July 31, 2023.

With this call, the Deputación de Ourense consolidates a provincial network of reconciliation and childcare services that reaches more than forty municipalities, mostly of small and medium size, contributing to facilitating the reconciliation of family and work life for families with minors throughout the provincial territory.
