The City Council opens a line of aid to promote local gastronomy
The Benicarló City Council has approved and published the call for subsidies aimed at restaurateur associations for carrying out actions to promote gastronomic tourism in 2026. The resolution appeared yesterday, 15 August, in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón (No. 98), within the framework of the Local Administration section, and establishes a period of 15 working days for submitting applications.
The rules were approved by Decree of the councillor delegated for the Tourism area, María Inmaculada Calvet Mojón, with a signature date of 12 August 2026 in Benicarló. The extract of the call is published under the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of 17 November, General Subsidies Law.
Purpose and award procedure
The call regulates the procedure for granting subsidies, under a competitive tender regime, to restaurant associations that carry out actions aimed at promoting gastronomic tourism in Benicarló.
