Benicàssim publishes the provisional list of admitted candidates for social worker

The Benicàssim City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the permanent appointment of two Social Worker positions, via a free-turn competitive examination. The resolution, adopted by Mayoral Decree No. 2026-3505 of August 26, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón number 103, dated August 27, 2026.

The positions, belonging to Group A, Subgroup A2, Special Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, correspond to the 2025 Public Employment Offer. One of them is reserved for persons with a disability equal to or greater than 33%, in compliance with the legal reserve for public employment.

Provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants

The provisional list includes 46 admitted applicants and 8 excluded, indicating the reason for exclusion. Among those admitted are, among others, Sonia Palanques Mendoza, Sandra Palomo Guarinos, Rosa Isabel Pardo Fuentes, Silvia Parra Ramos, María Prades Badenes, Irene Robledo Guarque, Daniel Safont Renau, Elena Sales Amer, Marta Isabel Sancho Fernández, and Miguel Julio Tamarit Altur.

The excluded applicants and the reason for their exclusion are:

• Sara Peris Perdomo: did not provide proof of fee payment.
• Paula Rajadell de Andrés: did not provide proof of fee payment.
• Nuria Beltrán Albiol: incomplete fee and qualification; did not provide proof of bonus/discount.
• Joaquín Carbonell Marzal: incomplete disability certificate.
• Lucía Castelos Sancho: did not prove minimum seniority of 6 months (fee bonus).
• Marina Díaz Beltrán: did not provide proof of fee payment.
• Sandra García Venancio: outside the deadline.
• Inmaculada Osuna Camacho: did not provide proof of fee payment.

Selection Board

The resolution establishes the Technical Selection Body that will grade the selection process, composed of:

• Chairperson: titular Sara García Santamaría, Social Services Coordinator of the Benicàssim City Council; substitute Joaquín Muñoz Orenga, Middle Technician of the Employment and Local Development Agency.
• Secretary: titular Gregorio Juárez Rodríguez, Vice-Secretary of the City Council; substitute Josep Francesc Moles i Abad, Linguistic Technician.
• Members: titulars Joaquín Muñoz Orenga, Roser Talamantes Segarra (Social Worker from La Vall d’Uixó), and Raquel Herrero Monferrer (Social Worker from Onda), with their respective substitutes.

Date of the first exercise and correction period

The first exercise of the examination will be held on October 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Centre de Formació Josep Barberà i Ceprià, located at calle Jutge Manuel Gual i Miravet no. 1 in Benicàssim.

A period of 10 business days is granted, starting from the day following the publication, for excluded or omitted applicants to remedy the defects that led to their exclusion or omission, as well as to submit claims. Within the same period, the recusal of the members of the Tribunal may be promoted. Once the period has elapsed without claims, the provisional resolution shall automatically become final.

The resolution, signed by the Mayor-President, Susana Marqués Escoín, is a non-decisory procedural act; therefore, no appeal may be filed against it, without prejudice to challenging the decision that ends the process in due course.

This selection process is key to strengthening the municipal social services of Benicàssim, which will incorporate two new technical staff members in an area of direct citizen care, with one of the positions aimed at guaranteeing the inclusion of people with disabilities in local public employment.
