Benicàssim announces eleven Administrative Assistant positions with 1,150 admitted candidates
Por FactBox Admin

The City Council of Benicàssim has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the permanent filling of eleven Administrative Assistant positions in General Administration. The resolution is signed by Mayor Susana Marqués Escoín and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón no. 117, dated September 29, 2026, under Mayoral Decree no. 2026-3981, dated September 25.
The called positions correspond to Group C, subgroup C2, General Administration Scale, Assistant Subscale, and are distributed between the internal promotion track and the open track. The announcement is also published on the City Council’s Notice Board and opens the process for corrections and claims as provided for in the call’s rules.
Nearly 1,150 admitted and 129 provisional exclusions
The provisional list of admitted applicants amounts to 1,150 people: one via the internal promotion track and 1,149 via the open track. The only applicant admitted through internal promotion is GARCIA MONTERO, MARIA ADELA.
The list of excluded applicants, also provisional, totals 129 people and details the reason for each exclusion:
- Internal promotion track (2): ROCAMORA CATALAN, CARLOS and CUCALA PUIG, JORDI, both for failing to prove their status as career civil servants of public administrations in active service.
- Open track (127): among the most repeated reasons are failure to provide proof of fee payment, incomplete or non-homologated qualifications, incomplete or expired ID (DNI), unproven bonuses, and failure to prove the requirements of Article 57 of the TREBEP regarding nationality.
Qualifying Board and first exam on November 14
The decree establishes the Technical Selection Body that will grade the process, with the following members:
- Presidency: David José Mateu Bellés (titular) and Carlos Iban Chermà Cortés (substitute).
- Secretariat: Gregorio Juárez Rodríguez (titular) and Esmeralda Faciabén López (substitute).
- Members: Raquel Oller Rubert, María Carmen Turlo Benau, and Esmeralda Faciabén López, with Carlos Iban Chermà Cortés, Gemma Borrás Ulldemolins, and Silvia Romero Pascual as substitutes.
- Advisors: Ainara Conesa García, Head of the Human Resources Section, and Josep Moles i Abad, Linguistic Normalization Technician.
The first exam of the competitive process will be held, provisionally, on November 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Universitat Jaume I, Faculty of Human and Social Sciences.
Ten business days to correct and challenge
The decree grants a period of ten business days, counted from the day following publication, for excluded persons or those who do not appear on the list of admitted candidates to remedy the defects that led to their exclusion or omission and to submit any claims they deem appropriate. Within the same period, the recusal of members of the Tribunal and advisors may be promoted, or their abstention may be declared.
If no claim, suggestion, or request for correction is submitted, the provisional resolution shall automatically become final; otherwise, a new resolution will be issued elevating the lists to final. During this same period, persons applying through the reserve quota for people with disabilities may request adaptations of time and means, and no subsequent requests or requests from applicants outside this quota will be admitted.
The call directly affects over a thousand candidates from the region and the municipal staff of Benicàssim, which is reinforcing its administrative structure with eleven structural positions. The calendar is now conditional upon the correction process: only after resolving it will the lists be elevated to final and the date of the first exercise be confirmed.
