Benicàssim announces the exams for Social Educator and Psychologist

The Benicàssim City Council has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón the definitive lists of accepted and excluded candidates to permanently fill three positions from the 2025 Public Employment Offer: two Social Educator positions and one Psychologist position, all through the competitive examination system in the open turn. The two announcements, signed on 12 August by the mayor-president, Susana Marqués Escoín, appear in issue 97 of the BOP, dated 13 August 2026, and set the first exams for September.

Both selection processes stem from the Mayoral decrees 2026-3271 (Social Educator) and 2026-3270 (Psychologist), both dated 11 August 2026, which approve the definitive lists and correct the exam dates. The positions fall under Group A —Subgroup A2 for educators and A1 for the psychologist—, Special Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, and their coverage will strengthen the municipal social services of the coastal municipality.

Three positions, 66 accepted and 7 excluded

The Social Educator call, published under reference 03681-2026-U, leaves a definitive list of 27 accepted candidates and 6 excluded:

• Accepted (27): the list, ordered alphabetically, includes, among others, Pablo Alonso Ebrí, María Bellés Monfort, Teresa Escrig Sanchis, Carolina García Feliu, Sandra Rojo Ávila and Noelia Tena Sanz.
• Excluded (6): Adriana Abella Mateu, Bruno Agut Rodríguez, Cristina Bou Ibáñez, Nury Conde Conde, Isabel Guijarro González and Susana Marco Sánchez.

The Psychologist list, under reference 03682-2026-U, includes 39 accepted candidates and a single exclusion:

• Accepted (39): among them Rosa María Beltrán Álvarez, Beatriz Edo García, Almudena Fuertes Baeza, Nadia Monserrate Calvet, Marta Rodríguez Jiménez and Eva Vidal Talavera.
• Excluded (1): Laura Peris Zaragoza, for not providing the fee payment receipt.

Reasons for exclusion

The gazette details the coded causes that have left out seven candidates:

• Reason 1: incorrect or missing fee payment receipt.
• Reason 2: qualification submitted is not the one required.
• Reason 3: application submitted after the deadline.
• Reason 4: no documentation attached.

Schedule and location of the first exam

The resolutions correct the date of the first exam of both competitive examinations, which will be held at the Centre de Formació Josep Barberà i Ceprià, 1 Jutge Manuel Gual i Miravet Street, Benicàssim:

• Psychologist: 8 September 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
• Social Educator: 11 September 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Examination board and correction of errors

In the process for Social Educator, the composition of the selection board established by the Mayor’s Decree 2026-3003, of July 21, 2026, is ratified. In the process for Psychologist, Decree 2026-2906, of July 14, is also corrected due to a transcription error on the board: where it read “María Luisa Arnau Torres” it should read “María Alicia Arnau Torres”, Psychologist at the Oropesa del Mar City Council, as alternate; the rest of the composition is ratified.

The resolutions are published in the BOP of Castellón, on the municipal notice board, and on the town hall’s website. With the final lists approved, the 66 admitted applicants now know the dates and location of their first exam, a decisive step to fill positions that will strengthen the technical staff dedicated to social intervention and psychological care in Benicàssim.
