Benavente opens the competition for the Valdelafuente water reservoir

The Benavente City Council has opened the public tender for the administrative concession of private use of the public domain of the water tank located in the Valdelafuente area, in polygon 501, plot 48. The call, approved by Mayoral Resolution of June 18, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Zamora no. 118, of October 9, 2026, with reference R-202602124. Interested parties have a period of thirty days from the publication of the announcement to submit their requests.

The announcement is based on article 96.3 of Law 33/2003, of November 3, on the Heritage of Public Administrations, which regulates the ex officio initiation of these concessions. According to this provision, the call must be approved by the competent body and published in the Official State Gazette, that of the autonomous community, or that of the province, depending on the acting administration, without prejudice to other additional means of dissemination.

The file is processed electronically through the Public Sector Procurement Platform, where the complete file can be consulted. The announcement occupies page 138 of the gazette, within section III, Local Administration, and was signed in Benavente on September 1, 2026, by the mayor, with an electronic signature date of October 8, 2026.

The object of the concession

The call is resolved under a competitive regime and concerns a single municipal public domain asset:

The calculation of the deadline begins with the official publication, so that companies interested in exploiting the property must formalize their request within that thirty-day window.

The publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Zamora fulfills the official dissemination requirement provided for in Law 33/2003 and formally opens the application period.
