Bembibre publishes the final list of candidates for license manager
Por FactBox Admin

The Bembibre City Council has made public the final list of admitted candidates for the temporary provision, via voluntary service commission, of a position as manager of licenses, assets, and procurement, as well as the composition of the commission that will evaluate the merits. The Mayoral Resolution No. 2026-0561, dated September 29, 2026, signed by Mayor Silvia Cao Fornís and endorsed by General Secretary Vicente González Iglesias, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León No. 192, dated October 8, 2026, with the official reference BOP-LE-2026-192003.
Temporary coverage through a competitive process
The call is processed as a voluntary service commission, a figure that allows for the temporary filling of a position reserved for civil service personnel without resorting to a permanent appointment. The chosen selection system is a merit-based competition, meaning the evaluation focuses on the merits provided by the candidates rather than competitive examinations.
The municipal file is 3668/2026, with a start date of July 22, 2026, and falls under the procedure for personnel selection and position filling. The rules governing the process were approved by Mayoral Decree No. 2026-0451 and published in the BOP on August 12, 2026.
The resolution is adopted by virtue of the powers conferred upon the mayor by Article 21.1.g) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, once the application submission period has ended.
Admitted candidates
Annex I of the resolution contains the final list of applicants who have submitted an application to opt for the aforementioned service commission. Two people are competing in the process:
- Belén Díez González.
- Verónica Vidal Redondo.
The official document accompanies each name with the national identity document number, which appears partially hidden for data protection.
Evaluation Commission
The second of the agreements designates the members of the Evaluation Commission responsible for assessing the merits presented by the candidates. Its composition is established as follows:
- Chairperson: Marco Antonio Menéndez Fernández.
- Full Member: Marta Montiel Reyero.
- Full Member: Roque Álvarez Cabero.
- Secretary: Vicente González Iglesias.
The third agreement orders the publication of the resolution in the Official Gazette of the Province and on the electronic office of the Bembibre City Council (http://aytobembibre.sedelectronica.es), in order to guarantee the publicity and transparency of the procedure. The document is electronically signed from the esPublico Gestiona platform and is verifiable through the provincial gazette’s validation system.
A key position for municipal management
The advertised position groups three sensitive areas of local administration: licenses, assets, and procurement. These are functions that directly affect the municipality’s economic activity, from the authorization of activities to the processing of public procurement files and the management of municipal heritage.
Coverage via a service commission allows the Bembibre City Council to immediately reinforce a technical area while the definitive provision is resolved. For interested parties, the announcement establishes the framework of the process and confirms that the assessment of merits remains in the hands of an already constituted commission, which clears the way for the next phase of the procedure.
