Bellvei approves the extraordinary public offer of nine positions for internal promotion

The Bellvei City Council has approved the Extraordinary Public Employment Offer for the year 2026, which provides for filling 9 vacant positions through restricted horizontal internal promotion for permanent contractual staff. The agreement, adopted by the Local Governing Board on August 27, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 7, 2026, with reference CVE 2026-08332.

The decision, electronically signed on September 3, 2026, by the mayor-president, Valentín González García, responds to the need to fill vacant positions in the general administration scale of the council. All positions are offered via horizontal internal promotion (PIHR), a modality that allows permanent contractual staff to access jobs within the same scale without an external competitive examination.

The offered positions

The offer includes a total of 9 positions, all within the general administration scale, auxiliary sub-scale, with classification group C/C2:

• 8 administrative assistant positions, with codes 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.11, and 1.12, each linked to a position with its own code (2.7 to 2.13 and 2.16).
• 1 subordinate position, with code 1.13, linked to the position with code 2.15.

All positions are listed as vacant and unoccupied, and will be filled through horizontal internal promotion restricted to the permanent contractual staff of the city council.

Call for applications deadline

According to the same announcement, the positions offered in the execution of this Extraordinary Public Employment Offer must be called for within a non-extendable term of three years, counted from the date of publication of the offer in the official gazette.

This deadline sets the calendar that the council must follow to initiate the corresponding selection processes and fill the vacant positions.
