Belbimbre calls for the election of its substitute justice of the peace

The Belbimbre City Council has opened a public call to fill the position of substitute justice of the peace for the municipality, whose term is nearing its end. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 182, corresponding to Thursday, September 24, 2026, with the reference BOPBUR-2026-03954, and sets a deadline of twenty business days to submit applications.

Requirements to apply for the position

Applicants must meet the conditions detailed in the call:

• Be Spanish.
• Be of legal age.
• Reside in the municipality of Belbimbre.
• Meet the requirements established in the Organic Law of the Judiciary for entry into the judicial career, except those derived from age retirement, provided that this does not constitute a physical or psychological impediment to the performance of the position.

Deadline, location, and documentation

Applications shall be submitted to the Municipal Secretariat of the city council, whose public service hours are provided at the Pampliega City Council. The deadline is twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos.

Along with the application, the following must be provided:

• A copy of the DNI (National ID).
• A sworn statement that the applicant is not subject to any cause of incompatibility or prohibition, in accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law of the Judiciary and the Regulations for Justices of the Peace.
