Becerreá announces a vacancy for a works and services officer by substitution
Por FactBox Admin

The Becerreá City Council announces a selection process to fill one position as officer, works and services personnel, as temporary labor personnel and as a substitute for a worker. The call and the regulatory bases were approved by Mayoral Decree No. 2026-0563, dated September 30, 2026, and the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo No. 229, dated October 7, 2026, with the official reference R. 2654. Interested parties have ten business days to submit their application.
The announcement, signed by Mayor Manuel Martínez Núñez in Becerreá on September 30, 2026, is included in the COUNCILS section of the provincial gazette. This is a strictly temporary call: the filling of the position responds to the need to substitute a worker, as literally stated in the published official text.

Bases and submission of applications
The full text of the regulatory bases of the process, as well as the standardized application form, are available on the notice board hosted on the City Council’s electronic headquarters, accessible via the link https://concellodebecerrea.sedelectronica.gal/. The gazette announcement does not reproduce the full content of the bases, but instead refers to that notice board for consultation.
The submission of applications shall be made at the General Electronic Registry of the City Council or through any of the forms established in article 16.4 of the current Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
Ten business day deadline
The submission period is ten (10) business days, counted from the day following the publication of the call announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo. The count, therefore, begins once the edict is inserted in the provincial gazette, and not from the date of the decree approving the bases.
The publication in the BOP of Lugo is, therefore, the milestone that activates the deadline and determines its count in business days, in accordance with the general regime for calculating administrative deadlines.
Relevance for readers
The call opens a temporary public employment opportunity in the Becerreá City Council for those who can prove the profile of works and services officer. Given that the deadline is short and the full rules are only accessible on the municipal electronic office, interested persons should consult the notice board as soon as possible and prepare the required documentation to formalize the application within the established period.
