Barreiros publishes the provisional list of multi-service workers

The Barreiros City Council has approved the provisional list of admissions and exclusions for the selection process to fill three positions for Multiple Services Operators as permanent labor staff, through a competitive examination in the open category. The list, signed by Mayor Ana Belén Ermida Igrexas on August 25, 2026, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 199, on September 1, 2026, under reference R. 2322.

The process is part of the public employment offers (OEP) of 2022 and 2025 and is governed by the bases approved and published in the BOP on January 17, 2026. The provisional list includes a total of 17 admitted persons and 6 excluded, all of whom have rectifiable causes for exclusion.

Admitted persons

The provisional list of admitted candidates includes 17 applicants who passed the verification phase of the submitted documentation:

Excluded persons and causes

Six applicants appear on the list of excluded persons, all of them for failing to prove one of the requirements demanded for the position. Five of them did not justify possessing the phytosanitary certificate, while one did not prove possession of a driver’s license:

• Sergio Fernández Rodil — does not prove phytosanitary certificate
• Miguel Gruñeiro Iglesia — does not prove phytosanitary certificate
• Jorge Lombardía Gandoy — does not prove phytosanitary certificate
• Andrés López Díaz — does not prove phytosanitary certificate
• José Luis Moreda Redondas — does not prove driver’s license

Rectification period

Applicants omitted from the list have a period of ten calendar days counting from the publication of the announcement in the BOP to file a claim or rectify the defects that led to their exclusion. If they are not amended within the indicated period, they will be definitively excluded from taking the tests.

In the event that no allegations or rectifications are presented, the provisional list will become final. The resolution by which the final list is approved will be published in the same manner as the provisional one and will determine the place, date, and start time of the selection tests, as well as the composition of the tribunal, which will be decisive for the deadlines regarding possible challenges or appeals.

The publication of this list represents a key step in the process of stabilizing municipal personnel in Barreiros, which seeks to consolidate three multi-service positions in a council where these workers are essential for the maintenance of basic public services. Excluded applicants now have a real opportunity to correct their documentation and continue in the process, making the rectification period a decisive window to avoid being left out of the selection tests.
