Bareyo publica la lista provisional de aspirantes a Arquitecto

The Bareyo City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process, via the competitive examination system (concurso-oposición), to fill one Architect position and establish a job bank. The resolution, signed by Mayor Pedro Manuel Prieto Somarriba in Ajo on September 3, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria on September 11, 2026 (reference CVE-2026-7096, pages 45369-45370).

The call for applications was announced in BOC number 127, dated July 3, 2026, corrected in BOC number 140, dated July 22, and also disseminated in the Official State Gazette numbers 172 and 182, dated July 16 and 27, 2026. The process is handled in accordance with Article 20 of the General Regulations for the Admission of Personnel to the Service of the General State Administration (Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10) and Article 21.1.h of Law 7/1985, of April 2, on the Bases of the Local Regime.

The advertised position

The Architect position belongs to the Special Administration scale, Technical sub-scale, Senior Technician class, classified in Group A1, with a destination supplement level of 26. The process combines a merit-based phase (concurso) and an examination phase (oposición) and also includes the creation of a job bank for future municipal technical personnel needs.

List of admitted applicants

After examining the submitted documentation, the City Council provisionally admits twelve applicants:

  • Patricia Martin Martin
  • Irene Cereceda Diez
  • Nerea Jimenez Jardon
  • Daniel Paez del Solar
  • Catalina Garcia Vazquez
  • Elena Enriquez Gutierrez
  • Teresa Hernandez Lorente
  • Danae Odette Rodriguez Zamora
  • Mario Escudero Robla
  • Ivan Garcia Matilla
  • Jose Antonio Oliver Santiago
  • Cristina Martin de Juan

Excluded applicants and correction period

Two candidates are provisionally excluded due to deficiencies in their documentation:

  • Belen Rojo Noriega, for submitting Annex II without a signature.
  • Eduardo Rodriguez Lantaron, for submitting Annexes II and III without a signature.

In accordance with Article 68.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure, interested parties have a period of ten business days, counting from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of Cantabria, to remedy the deficiencies or request the correction of formal errors that the list may contain.

Relevance of the process

The provisional resolution paves the way for the definitive filling of a key technical position for the municipality, as the municipal Architect is involved in urban planning processing, licenses, and the planning of Bareyo. The establishment of the job bank will also allow for the streamlining of future technical personnel hiring without the need to open a new selection process.
