Bagà authorizes the improvement of pavements and the provision of facilities on Raval Street

The Plenary of the Bagà City Council, in an ordinary session on September 14, 2026, has initially approved the basic and execution project for the improvement of pavements and facility actions on Raval Street. The agreement sets a base tender budget of 685,374.71 euros, VAT included, and an estimated contract value of 566,425.38 euros, VAT excluded. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 23, 2026, with the official reference CVE 202610141301, and opens a thirty-day period for public information.

The project is part of file 2026_1335, processed through the project approval route in the field of urban planning. The body that approved it is the municipal Plenary, and the act is qualified as an initial approval subject to public information and a hearing for interested parties. The publication in the provincial gazette is complemented by an insertion in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya and on the notice board of the Bagà City Council.

Thirty days to examine the file and submit allegations

The second agreement of the Plenary submits the ordinary works project to public information and a hearing for interested parties for a period of thirty days. During this period, the file remains available to anyone who wishes to examine it in order to formulate any allegations they deem appropriate. The documentation can also be consulted at the municipal electronic office, at the address www.baga.cat.

Automatic final approval if there are no claims

The third agreement establishes that, if no claim or allegation is presented during the public information period, the initial approval of the project will become final without the need to adopt any new agreement. In this case, the municipal secretary will record this in the file through the corresponding certification.

The announcement specifies that this is a non-qualified procedural act, not final in the administrative process and, therefore, not subject to appeal. This is understood without prejudice to the provisions of Article 40.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations. The document was electronically signed by the mayor, Lluís Casas Prados, dated in Bagà on September 15, 2026.

The tender represents a significant municipal investment in a street within the urban center of Bagà and directly affects the mobility and accessibility of the residents. The fact that the initial approval may become final without a new agreement if there are no objections grants interested parties a thirty-day window to intervene in the procedure before the project is closed.
