Baena corrects the list of admitted candidates for the Janitor-Cleaner position

The Baena City Council has corrected the list of admitted applicants for the selection process to fill a permanent position as Janitor-Cleaner, after noting that the list published in error contained the names of applicants corresponding to another procedure. The rectification is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba No. 195, dated October 8, 2026 (reference BOP-A-2026-3387) and affects the fifteen candidates competing for the position.

The rectification and its legal basis

The correction originates from the Personnel Delegation of the Baena City Council, which on September 28, 2026, issued resolution no. 3544/2026, published in the BOP of Córdoba No. 192, dated October 5, 2026, regarding the final approval of admitted and excluded applicants and the setting of the date for the first test.

Having noticed the material error in the list of admitted candidates, the Delegation invokes Article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, which allows administrations to rectify material, factual, or arithmetic errors existing in their acts at any time, either ex officio or at the request of the interested parties.

The resolution, signed in Baena on October 5, 2026, by the Personnel Delegate, Francisco Ramón Vizcaíno Barea, corrects the second section of resolution no. 3544/2026 and orders its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province and on the notice board of the Town Hall.

Date, time, and location of the first test

The first test of the selection process, which is theoretical and multiple-choice, will be held on October 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Escuela Taller Building, located on Mirador del Hospital street in Baena.

The call for applications is part of the 2026 public employment offer of the Baena City Council for the permanent provision, via open competition, of one labor personnel position.

Closing

The publication of the corrected list clears up the uncertainty for the fifteen applicants, who have just over a week to prepare for a test whose date and location remain unchanged from the initial call. The rectification ensures that the candidates called for the exam are those from the Janitor-Cleaner procedure and not from another municipal process.
