Por FactBox Admin

The Baena City Council has approved the final list of admitted and excluded applicants for the Cleaning Staff position within the labor personnel workforce, corresponding to the 2026 Public Employment Offer, after upholding three of the submitted appeals. The Mayoral resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 192, dated October 5, 2026, in the Local Administration section, pages 14245 to 14248, with the official reference BOP-A-2026-3281.
The origin of the selection process
The selection tests were called for the permanent filling, via open competition, of a single Cleaning Staff position. Once the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants was approved and published, and the period for correcting applications had elapsed, the Administration noted the submission of four written appeals.
The resolution was signed in Baena on September 28, 2026, by the Personnel Delegate, Francisco Ramón Vizcaíno Barea, and is issued by virtue of the powers that current legislation attributes to the Mayor’s Office.
Upheld appeals and corrections
The Mayor’s Office upholds the three substantive appeals and orders a correction of errors:
- María Dolores Sánchez Moreno: it is verified ex officio that she submitted her qualification along with her application, therefore she is included in the final list of admitted applicants.
- Encarnación Ordóñez Jiménez: it is verified that she paid the examination fees within the application submission period, therefore she is included in the final list.
- Rafael Pulido Jiménez: it is confirmed that he was included by error in the Janitor-Cleaner process when his application was for Cleaning Staff, therefore he is incorporated into the final list for this category.
- María del Carmen de las Morenas Amores and María Jesús Bergillos Melendo: their surnames are corrected in the final list of admitted applicants.
Fifty-three admitted applicants
The final list of admitted applicants consists of 53 people, ordered alphabetically and with the National Identity Document partially protected. Among them, in addition to the three female applicants and the male applicant reinstated, are names such as Agustín Agundo Cruz, Minerva Albendín Cañete, Cristina Albendín Ordóñez, Silvia Ariza Pérez, Aurora Arroyo Arrebola, María Victoria Baena Arcos, Antonio Jesús Barba Santiago, Dolores Barea Arcos, Inmaculada Bonilla Cruz, Eric Borrego Cañete, Dulcenombre María Bujalance Ruiz, María Teresa Cabello Bergillos, Víctor Manuel Cáliz Marques, and Carmen María Cañero Horcas, completing the list with Marina Villa Guardeno in position 53.
Qualifying Board and date of the first exercise
As provided in Base 6 of the process, the members of the Qualifying Board are appointed:
- President: Miguel Ángel Morales Díaz, Secretary General of the Most Excellent City Council of Baena; alternate Javier Sánchez Espartero.
- Member 1: Juan Ignacio Rojano Jorge, Municipal Technical Engineer; alternate Francisco José Navarro Esquinas.
- Member 2: Antonio Ruiz García, Comptroller; alternate Sara Isabel Navea López.
- Member 3: María José Herenas García, Administrative Staff; alternate José Carreras Gálvez.
- Member 4: Sonia Pulido Campos, Administrative Staff; alternate María Dolores Lopera Castro.
- Secretary: Manuel Martínez Tarifa, Head of Section of the General Secretariat, with voice but without vote; alternate Rocío Márquez Ramírez.
The first exercise of the selection process, a theoretical multiple-choice test, will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Escuela Taller Building, located on Mirador del Hospital Street in Baena.
The publication of this final list closes the admission phase and starts the countdown for the 53 applicants, who now know the tribunal, venue, and time of the exam. For the Baena City Council, this represents the completion of a procedure of the 2026 Public Employment Offer and the resolution of three appeals that could have excluded candidates with the right to participate from the process.
