Badajoz appoints Emilia Calvo Luque as intern computer operator

The Badajoz City Council has appointed Emilia Calvo Luque as a civil servant in training for the position of IT Operator, effective from September 9, 2026. The appointment, adopted by decree of the Mayor’s Office, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 171, dated September 7, 2026, via Announcement 3514/2026.

The designation occurs following the successful completion of the selection process convened through the open competitive examination system to fill, as a career civil servant, an IT Operator position categorized in group C1 of the Special Administration scale of the Staffing Table for Civil Servants of the Badajoz council.

Processing of the file

The procedure began with the appointment proposal formulated on August 18, 2026, by the President of the Selection Board of the call. Subsequently, the municipal Funds Audit Office issued a favorable report on August 27, 2026, and the documentation submitted by the applicant was declared compliant.

The decree, digitally signed in Badajoz, was signed by delegation of the Mayor’s Office by the Fourth Deputy Mayor, Eladio Buzo Corzo, by virtue of the Decree of February 2, 2024 (published in the BOP of Badajoz number 28, dated February 8).
