Azuqueca provides a 30,000 euro subsidy for intellectual disability care

The City Council of Azuqueca de Henares will allocate 30,000 euros to finance projects for the care of people with intellectual disabilities in the municipality during the 2026 fiscal year. The call, under a competitive bidding process, was approved by mayoral resolution on September 16, 2026, and its summary is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara No. 181, dated September 23, 2026, under BDNS number 930105.

The call stems from the regulatory bases definitively approved and published in BOP No. 230, dated December 1, 2025, under the title “Definitive approval of the Regulatory Bases for the subsidy for actions aimed at the care of people with intellectual disabilities.” The summary is disseminated in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and the full text can be consulted in the National Subsidy Database.

The objective is to regulate the granting of aid to finance projects promoting social inclusion and support in various areas of daily life for people with intellectual disabilities. The maximum amount is charged to budget item 2310.489.20 of the 2026 municipal budget.

Who can apply for the aid

Non-profit entities with their own legal personality and legally constituted before the date of approval of the call may be beneficiaries, provided they meet these requirements:

• Be domiciled in Azuqueca de Henares and registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations.
• Direct the subsidized activity to the residents of the municipality and carry it out within the municipal boundaries.
• Be up to date with the fulfillment of obligations contracted through previous subsidies from the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares, as well as any repayments, where applicable.
• Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations, and payments to the City Council itself.
• Not be subject to the prohibitions of article 13 of Law 38/2003 to obtain beneficiary status.

Deadline and method of submission

Applications must be submitted within ten calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the call and its summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara. Only one application per interested party will be admitted, and each applicant may opt for only one modality of the subsidy.

• Submission shall be electronic and with an electronic signature through the General Registry of the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares.
• The registries provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure may also be used.
• Applications submitted after the deadline will not be admitted for processing.
• If the application does not meet the requirements or documentation is missing, its rectification will be required within ten days; failure to do so will result in the applicant being considered to have withdrawn.

Required Documentation

Along with the application, signed by the president of the entity or by whoever has accredited delegation, the following must be provided:

• Certificate from the secretary accrediting the agreement of the governing body and the appointment of the representative.
• Photocopy of the tax identification card, the bylaws, and the NIF (Tax ID) of the appointed representative.
• Certificate of the number of members up to date with fee payments, if applicable.
• Third-party form with the IBAN number and the name of the association as the holder.
• Project of proposed activities.
• Responsible declaration stating that the entity is not subject to the prohibitions for being a beneficiary entity.
• Certificate of being up to date with payments to the Social Security and the Tax Agency.
• List of activities or projects with the same objective already developed in Azuqueca de Henares, including their dates.

The call reinforces municipal support for third-sector entities working with people with intellectual disabilities, who will have ten days to apply for an allocation that will be distributed among the highest-rated projects.
