Azuqueca calls for 54,000 euros in social services grants

The City Council of Azuqueca de Henares has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara (No. 170, dated September 4, 2026) the call for grants for the development of social services projects 2026, with a maximum allocation of 54,000 euros. The call, approved by mayoral resolution on August 31, 2026, is processed under a competitive bidding regime and is listed in the National Grants Database with the identifier BDNS 927298.
The objective is to finance actions in the field of social services within the municipality, with special attention to groups at risk of exclusion. The eligible projects are oriented toward school reinforcement support for minors at risk, social support, and health prevention.
Amount and budget line
The maximum amount allocated amounts to 54,000 euros, chargeable to budget line 2310 489.17 of the municipal budget for the 2026 financial year, corresponding to the department of Social Cohesion. The call is based on the regulatory bases definitively approved and published in BOP No. 229, dated November 28, 2025, under the title “Definitive approval of the Regulatory Bases for grants for the attention to the development of new responses in the social field of healthcare assistance.”
Beneficiary requirements
Non-profit entities, legally constituted and with their own legal personality prior to the approval of the call, that develop programs in the field of social services, may apply for the grants. Among the required requirements are:
- Being registered in the Registry of entities of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.
- Reflecting in their statutes goals related to social services, the elderly, and family.
- Demonstrating experience and operational capacity, with a report of activities.
- Having citizens of Azuqueca de Henares as final beneficiaries, especially groups at risk of exclusion.
- Being up to date with tax obligations, with Social Security, and with the City Council itself.
- Not incurring the prohibitions of Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies.
Deadline and method of submission
Applications must be submitted within 10 calendar days counting from the day following the publication of the call in the BOP of Guadalajara. Only one application per interested party will be admitted, and those submitted after the deadline will be inadmissible.
The submission shall be carried out electronically with an electronic signature through the General Registry of the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares, or in the other registries provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. If the application does not meet the requirements, its rectification will be requested within a period of ten days, after which the applicant will be considered to have withdrawn. The call, signed on September 1, 2026, by the mayor, Mr. Miguel Óscar Aparicio de Lucas, reinforces the social protection network of Azuqueca de Henares, channeling public resources toward third-sector entities that serve the most vulnerable residents of the municipality.
