Azuqueca calls for 40,000 euros in grants for excluded groups

The City Council of Azuqueca de Henares has approved the call for grants for the development of social service projects 2026, aimed at financing socio-labor support actions for groups at risk of exclusion. The call, approved by mayoral resolution on August 31, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 173, dated September 10, 2026, with reference number BDNS 927994.

The maximum allocation amounts to 40,000 euros, chargeable to budget item 2310 489.14 of the 2026 municipal budget of the Department of Social Cohesion. The grants will be awarded on a competitive basis, such that projects will be evaluated and prioritized against each other according to the criteria of the guidelines.

Regulatory Framework and Beneficiaries

The call is based on the regulatory guidelines definitively approved and published in the BOP of Guadalajara number 230, dated December 1, 2025, under the title “Definitive Approval of the Regulatory Guidelines for grants for socio-labor care and support for groups at risk of exclusion.” The legal framework is completed by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure.

Non-profit entities, legally constituted and with their own legal personality prior to the approval of the call, that meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries:

• Be registered in the Registry of entities of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.
• Reflect in their statutes goals related to social services, the elderly, and family.
• Demonstrate experience and operational capacity by presenting an activity report.
• Have the citizens of Azuqueca de Henares as final recipients, especially groups at risk of exclusion.
• Be up to date with tax obligations, with Social Security, and with the City Council itself.
• Not incur the prohibitions of article 13 of Law 38/2003.

Deadline and Method of Submission

Applications must be submitted within 10 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the BOP of Guadalajara. Only one application per interested party will be admitted, and those submitted after the deadline will be inadmissible for processing.

The submission shall be carried out electronically with an electronic signature through the General Registry of the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares, or in the other registries provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015. If the application does not meet the requirements, the interested party will be required to rectify it within ten days, after which they will be considered to have withdrawn.
