Azuqueca allocates 15,000 euros for the active aging of its seniors

Azuqueca convoca 15.000 euros para el envejecimiento activo de sus mayores

The City Council of Azuqueca de Henares has approved the call for grants for actions aimed at promoting active aging in older adults for the 2026 fiscal year, with a maximum budget of 15,000 euros. The call, approved by mayoral resolution on September 10, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 176, dated September 15, 2026, with reference BDNS 928823.

The grants are awarded on a competitive basis and will finance projects oriented toward the promotion of active aging and the prevention of loneliness among the elderly in the municipality. The amount is charged to budget item 3370.489.02 of the municipal budget for the 2026 fiscal year.

Regulatory Framework

The call is based on the regulatory bases definitively approved and published in the BOP of Guadalajara number 229, dated November 28, 2025, under the title “Definitive approval of the Regulatory Bases for the grant for associations promoting active aging.” The summary is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and the full text can be consulted in the National Database of Subsidies.

Deadline and Method of Submission

Applications must be submitted within ten calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the call and its summary in the BOP. Only one application per interested party will be admitted, and those submitted after the deadline will be rejected.

  • Electronic submission with an electronic signature through the General Registry of the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares, or in the other registries specified in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015.
  • The application must be signed by the president of the association or entity, or by someone with accredited delegation.
  • Each applicant may only submit an application for one of the grant modalities.
  • If the application does not meet the requirements, ten days will be granted to rectify the errors, after which the applicant will be considered to have withdrawn.

Required Documentation

The following documentation must be mandatorily provided along with the application:

  • Certificate from the secretary accrediting the governing body’s agreement to apply for the grant and the appointment of the representative.
  • Photocopy of the tax identification card, the bylaws, and the representative’s NIF (Tax ID).
  • Certificate of the number of members up to date with their membership fees.
  • Third-party form with the IBAN and the name of the association as the account holder.
  • Project of proposed activities.
  • Responsible declaration stating that the entity is not subject to any prohibitions from being a beneficiary.
  • Certificate of being up to date with Social Security and the Tax Agency.
  • List of activities or projects with the same objective developed in Azuqueca de Henares.
