The City Council of Azuqueca de Henares has opened the call for grants for social services projects 2026, aimed at financing socio-labor support, insertion, and prevention actions for youth at risk in the municipality. The call, approved by mayoral resolution on August 31, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 172, dated September 9, 2026, with reference BDNS 927948.
The grants are awarded on a competitive basis and have a maximum amount of 50,000 euros, chargeable to budget item 2310 489.16 of the 2026 municipal budget of the Department of Social Cohesion. The call is based on the regulatory bases definitively approved and published in BOP number 229, dated November 28, 2025.
Purpose and beneficiaries
The purpose of the call is to regulate the granting of subsidies to finance projects that develop actions in the field of social services, with special attention to socio-labor support, insertion, and the prevention of youth at risk. Non-profit entities legally constituted and with their own legal personality prior to the date of approval of the call may apply for the grants.
Beneficiaries must meet the following requirements:
- Be legally constituted and registered in the Registry of Entities of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.
- Reflect in their statutes goals related to the field of social services, the elderly, and family.
- Have sufficient structure and prove experience and operational capacity by presenting an activity report.
- Have the citizens of Azuqueca de Henares as final recipients, especially groups at risk of exclusion.
- Be up to date with tax obligations, Social Security, and the City Council itself.
- Not incur the prohibitions of Article 13 of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17.
Deadline and submission of applications
Applications and the remaining documentation must be submitted within 10 calendar days counting from the day following the publication of the call in the BOP of Guadalajara. Only one application per interested party will be admitted, and those submitted after the deadline will be inadmissible for processing.
Submission will be carried out electronically with an electronic signature through the General Registry of the City Council of Azuqueca de Henares, or in the other registries provided for in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. If the application does not meet the requirements, the interested party will be required to rectify it within ten days, with a warning of withdrawal otherwise.
The full terms and conditions, with the application as an annex, are available on the transparency portal of the City Council’s electronic office. The document appears signed on September 4, 2026, by the mayor, Miguel Óscar Aparicio de Lucas.
Impact for the municipality
The call for applications reinforces the council’s commitment to social cohesion and care for the most vulnerable groups, channeling public resources toward third-sector entities that work directly with youth at risk. With a submission deadline of barely ten days, interested entities must act quickly to formalize their projects and apply for one of the grants from the Social Cohesion budget line.
