The call, approved by mayoral resolution on August 20, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 163, dated August 26, 2026, with reference BDNS 926025.

The objective is to encourage the participation of cultural, gastronomic, friendship, and other types of associations that represent an Autonomous Community and are registered in the municipality. The amount is charged to budget item 9240.489.05.

Regulatory Framework

The call is based on the regulatory bases definitively approved and published in the BOP of Guadalajara number 136, dated July 17, 2025, under the title “Definitive Approval of the Regulatory Bases for grants for regional houses of Azuqueca”. The summary is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and the full text can be consulted in the National Database of Subsidies.

Entity Requirements

Both associations and federations that meet the requirements on the date of application may apply. For associations:

  • Be registered in the local registry of associations.

  • Have a minimum of 50 members.
  • Have carried out activities open to the public during local festivals in the last three years.

  • Be up to date with obligations regarding the reimbursement of grants, taxes, and Social Security.

For federations, in addition to local registration and address, participation in the last three years with cultural or musical activities in local festivals is required, as well as the remaining eligibility and solvency requirements.

Deadline and Submission

Applications must be submitted using the form included in the call (Annex I) along with the required documentation, within a period of two days starting from the day following the publication of the call and its summary in the BOP of Guadalajara. Submission shall be electronic, in accordance with article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure.

The application must include, among other documents, the ID (DNI) of the applicant, the responsible declarations (Annexes II and III), the third-party form where applicable, and the nominal list of associated persons. If the application does not meet the requirements, a correction period of ten days will be granted. The full terms and conditions are available on the transparency portal of the City Council’s electronic office. The document is signed by the mayor, Mr. Miguel Óscar Aparicio de Lucas, in Azuqueca de Henares on August 24, 2026.

Relevance for the municipality

The brevity of the deadline, of barely two days, forces interested cultural entities to act quickly so as not to miss the opportunity to access these grants. The call consolidates municipal support for regional houses, which form the backbone of the associative and festive life of Azuqueca de Henares and keep the links of its residents with their communities of origin alive.
