Azuaga publishes the provisional list for four Music Teacher positions
Por FactBox Admin

The Azuaga City Council has published the provisional list of applicants admitted and excluded from the selection tests to fill four positions for Music Teacher. The resolution, approved by Mayoral Decree no. 2026/868, dated October 7, 2026, appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 197, dated October 14, 2026, under reference Announcement 4034/2026. The positions correspond to the specialties of flute, guitar, piano, and horn.
The four positions are included in the public employment offer for the 2025 fiscal year and are called for under a labor regime, in the modality of permanent seasonal (fijo discontinuo), through a competitive examination system (concurso-oposición). The rules governing the process were approved by Mayoral Decree number 2026/750, dated August 13, and published in the BOP of Badajoz number 158, dated August 19, 2026.
The resolution is issued under article 21.1.g) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, and article 41.14 of Royal Decree 2568/1986, of November 28, which approves the Regulation of Organization, Operation, and Legal Regime of Local Entities. The decree orders the publication of the list in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz and on the notice board of the municipal electronic office (https://sede.azuaga.es), and to report the resolution to the Plenary of the Corporation in the next session to be held. The digital signature corresponds to the mayor, María Natividad Fuentes del Puerto.
Admitted by specialty
- Flute: Gaviro Ponce, María (NIF ****2358W).
- Guitar: Almoriz Rodríguez, Juan Manuel (NIF ****9644L).
- Piano: Valadés Manchón, María (NIF ****7060K).
- Horn: Aguilar Melero, Elvira (NIF ****3604R) and Hermoso Gil, Pedro Andrés (NIF ****9426Z).
In the specialties of flute and piano, no excluded applicants were registered, so the provisional list of admitted candidates is closed with a single candidate in each.
Excluded and causes
- Pérez Vázquez, Manuel (NIF ****6261E), guitar position: does not prove payment of examination fees.
- Catala Garrigos, Pau (NIF ****5396L), horn position: does not prove payment of examination fees.
The announcement specifies that appearing on the list of admitted candidates does not prejudge that the interested parties are recognized as possessing the requirements demanded in the procedure, which will be verified in subsequent phases of the competitive examination.
Deadline for claims and publicity
Excluded applicants have a period of ten business days, counting from the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province, to file claims or rectify the defects that led to their exclusion. The provisional list is also disseminated on the notice board of the electronic headquarters of the Azuaga City Council, so that any interested party can check their status without having to travel to the municipal offices.
The call for applications affects four different instrumental specialties, which requires each list to be resolved separately and multiplies the rectification procedures: two of the three excluded applicants are so due to a common defect, the non-payment of examination fees, a formal error that can be corrected within the open period.
The process remains open until the final resolution of admitted and excluded candidates and the subsequent holding of the tests. For the applicants, the claims calendar is now the decisive step: those who do not rectify within the deadline will be left out of the 2025 public employment offer, while the four candidates already admitted in transverse flute, guitar, piano, and horn maintain their position in the race for positions of a permanent seasonal nature in the municipality of Pacense.
