Azuaga sets the exams for the Administrative position with 21 admitted candidates

The Azuaga City Council has approved the final list of admitted and excluded applicants for the permanent appointment to one Administrative Assistant position, via open competition and through the opposition system, and has scheduled the exams for the upcoming September 28, 2026. The resolution, adopted by Mayoral Decree number 756/2026 of August 18, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 162, of August 25, 2026 (announcement 3354/2026).
A process framed within the 2026 public employment offer
The call for applications is part of the 2026 public employment offer and corresponds to a position in the General Administration scale, Administrative sub-scale. The rules were approved by Mayoral Decree number 385/2026, of May 12, and the provisional list was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 128, of July 8, 2026, by decree number 2026/603.
After the claims period elapsed without any being submitted, the Mayor’s Office has finalized the list of applicants. The resolution is issued in accordance with Article 20 of Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, and Article 21.1.g) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, on the Bases of the Local Regime.
Final list of admitted and excluded applicants
The final list includes 21 admitted applicants and one excluded. Appearing on the list of admitted applicants does not prejudge the recognition of the requirements demanded in the procedure.
- Admitted: Sara Calero González, Laura Castillo Martín, Ana Belén Gómez Romero, Virginia Guerrero Vera, Mario Jiménez García, María Isabel López Guillen, Alba Luna Ramírez, Elena Mateo Gómez, Rosa Isabel Mateos Vargas, Ana Moruno Aroca, María Jesús Moruno Prieto, María Guadalupe Naranjo Carranco, Irene Navarro Alzas, Esteban Paniagua Durán, María Antonia Real Gordillo, María del Carmen Riera Fuentes, María Delcarmen Rivera Maroto, Raquel Sanchez Martínez, Lucia Sante Rubio, Laura Trimiño Agredano and Ana María Uña Sevillano.
- Excluded: Sonia Gallardo Gala, for failing to provide the required qualification.
Tribunal and date of the exams
The resolution appoints the tribunal that will judge the exams, presided over by Fátima García Medel, a Local Administration official with National Qualification, with Guadalupe Lozano Moruno as substitute. Serving as titular members are Clara Jiménez Barco, Antonio Carlos Gala Sevillano and Francisco Javier Adámez Segovia, and as titular secretary Alberto Gil García, also an official with National Qualification.
The selection tests will be held on September 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the City Council assembly hall, with an express summons to the members of the tribunal. The final list, the composition of the tribunal, and the date of the tests are published in the provincial bulletin and on the notice board of the City Council’s electronic headquarters.
Relevance for candidates
The publication closes the admission phase of a selection process of interest to the candidates of the region, who now know their status and the exam date with certainty. Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Mayor’s Office within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Badajoz within two months. The resolution is signed by the mayor, María Natividad Fuentes del Puerto.
