Call for a multi-service position in Valdesotos
The Valdesotos City Council, a municipality in the province of Guadalajara, has published the provisional list of applicants admitted to the selection process for the hiring of one part-time multi-service worker position. The resolution, signed on August 12, 2026, by the Deputy Mayor Eloísa Rodríguez Cristóbal, was published this Tuesday in Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 157, of August 18, 2026.
This is a position included in the permanent labor staff of the council, which is filled through the competitive examination system in the free turn. The call is part of the human resources reinforcement policy of a small-sized municipality, where each multi-service position is essential to guarantee the basic functioning of public services.
Two applicants admitted and none excluded
The provisional list raises to two the number of candidates who have passed the admission procedure:
- Applicant identified with number 0187088, admitted.
- Applicant identified with number 3131895, admitted.
No applicant has been excluded from the process, according to the published resolution. The provisional list is published in accordance with the provisions of the call’s selection process rules. Claims deemed pertinent may be filed against this provisional list within the deadline and in the manner established in the rules.
Background: publication in the BOE and in the BOP of Guadalajara
The call originates from the publication of the rules in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 117, of June 23, 2026. Subsequently, the call was published in the Official State Gazette number 158, of June 30, 2026, with reference BOE-A-2026-14177, in section II.B (Competitive examinations and contests – Local Administration), page 90192.
According to the BOE resolution, the application submission period was fifteen business days counted from the day following publication in the BOE. The resolution was signed on June 23, 2026, by the Mayor of the municipality, Irene Vicente González. The processing of the selection process has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of the approved rules.
Access to information and next steps
The Valdesotos City Council makes all information related to the process available to interested parties on its electronic headquarters (valdesotos.sedelectronica.es). The publication of the provisional list is one of the usual steps in personnel selection procedures in local administration, preceding the allegations phase and, where applicable, the final award of the position.
The reduced number of applicants —only two candidates for a single post— reflects the difficulty that many small municipalities in the province of Guadalajara face in attracting staff to multi-service positions, a common circumstance in low-population localities that depend on a minimum workforce to maintain basic services for citizens.
