Digital SME Grants for ICT solutions at the Avilés Chamber of Commerce

The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Avilés has published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) number 174, dated September 9, 2026, the summary of the call for the Digital SME Program 2026, aimed at financing support plans for ICT solutions in small and medium-sized enterprises. The grants are co-financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and are identified in the National Grants Database with the code BDNS 927280.

The call is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted on the Chamber’s electronic office and on the website www.avilescamara.es.

Beneficiaries and objective

SMEs within the territorial jurisdiction of the Avilés Chamber that are registered in the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) census may apply for the grants. Companies providing digitalization solutions to third parties are excluded, particularly those categorized under IAE group 845 (electronic operation on behalf of third parties), as they are entities related to the scope of the program.

The objective is to promote the participation of SMEs in the Digital SME Program, providing them with support services and financial aid to implement ICT solutions, subsidized at 60% through the Spain Pluriregional Program ERDF 2021-2027 (POPE).

Amount of grants

The total amount of financial aid for SMEs under this call amounts to €26,964.00, based on a budget of €44,940.00 for the execution of Phase II Implementation by the beneficiary companies. The amounts per company are as follows:

  • Maximum grant per company: €4,494.00.
  • Maximum eligible budget: €7,490.00 (€7,000.00 direct cost + €490.00 associated indirect costs).
  • Financing: the budget is fully pre-financed by the beneficiary company and subsequently co-financed by ERDF at 60%.
  • Maximum program execution budget: €62,256.78, which includes free diagnosis and monitoring services.

Submission deadline

The period for submitting applications through the electronic office opens at 09:00 h, once 5 business days have passed from the day following the publication of the announcement, and will remain open until 14:00 h on October 16, 2026. The deadline may be shortened if the available budget is exhausted.

The call, signed in Avilés on August 31, 2026, by the Secretary General of the Chamber, represents a direct opportunity for the Asturian business fabric to accelerate its digitalization with European funding, reducing the implementation cost of ICT solutions in a context of increasing competitive demands.
